Miles of smiles. In stage 2 our six year old joked “I hope I live through this”! In stage 3 our eight year old said (with a smile on his face) “I feel like I’m walking a line between life and death”. Both are begging to go back already!

I had a great time today with my 14 and 16 year old kids. It was so nice to be out in nature and get a great workout both mentally and physically. Go Ape is not easy but super rewarding. I felt very safe the whole time because there were multiple guides along the way that added assistance and were monitoring to make sure we were doing things correctly. I really appreciated when both Jennie and Eileen advised us on how we should proceed. We left tired, dirty, but with big smiles on our faces from what we accomplished together.
One word of advice, buy the gloves. Your hands will thank you.

This was my second time going to Go Ape, but the first time planning a group outing there. I brought my work crew of 18 people. They were very accommodating to our situation, and made everything so easy for us while we were there. It was a great day of fun! As an extra bonus, we found that it helped us discover how to best work with members of our team when it comes to somewhat stressful situations.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this place, and am eagerly awaiting the next time that I get to visit! :)

Buyer beware....
I emailed asking about masks a few days ago. Being a weekend I figured it might take time, but never got a reply.
I decided to book online, and found they are charging an extra $25 to book 4 people to do the course and the axe throwing, so the price is pretty deceptive. I tried calling, but they charge that extra fee for that as well.... so it really isn't like it is a convenience fee if you always have to pay it.
They advertise $10 off per person discount on the axe throwing as an addon to the course. However when I tried to add it, they wanted me to book a time for that.... and it wanted to charge $20 plus the add on fees per person, and not $10.
I called customer service who was no help at all, and when I asked for someone to talk to was told there is nobody available. She can leave a message and see if someone can call.
Anyone know a place we could go that would be similar without the false price advertising and headaches?

I booked every spot available for a specific time slot six weeks in advance. The week of the outing, I received a call saying the facility was closing earlier in the day because they didn’t have staffing. That was disappointing enough as our group was traveling 2.5 hours away to do the ropes course. The main insult was the representative calling wasn’t apologetic and was rather rude on the phone. She did offer to refund the money after I asked instead of rescheduling; however, I was told it could take up to 14 days for the refund back to my credit card. Since this is the representation of this company, I doubt I will make the effort to go.

The whole experience was waiting in lines..then getting cut in front of while waiting at the 5th course repeatedly while on the ground waiting in line. No employee assistance anywhere to be found... so we just left without finishing. There were some very young kids I saw working there but not sure how much of anything they could do if people are brute forcing their way ahead of folks.

I have a lot of safety concerns coming out of this experience. I became stuck on one of the crossings halfway through the fourth course and exerted myself to the point of feeling faint. After freeing myself, there was no immediate way down. Instead I had to complete the entire course despite feeling I would be better suited to return to ground immediately.
No information is given at the beginning about procedures if someone were to have a medical emergency or become truly stuck — only that if there is an issue, you should blow a whistle. There are also no instructors on the platforms to assist those who are struggling or in an emergency. Because the ends of the courses are zip lines, and there are no ladders to the platforms, there appears to be only one way to access people on the course. Everyone behind me would have had to exit before someone could even begin to try to reach me. That doesn't feel safe, efficient or effective.
Also, there was a lot of tangled equipment on the fourth course. We saw others struggle significantly on the area where I became stuck, despite it being in the "easier" route. It is hard to tell from the ground what obstacles will be encountered, making it hard to assess the safety and whether you're up to those challenges.
It was a shame that so much seemed to go wrong on course four, because to that point I was having fun and enjoying my time.

I brought my 2 teenage sons to Go Ape and we had a blast! We really enjoyed the challenge. The obstacles were awesome and the zip lines were so much fun! The staff was amazing! They answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable with going onto the course. I completely recommend Go Ape! You’ll have the best time ever!

Absolutely the BEST experience ever! It was my first time ever zip lining and I felt so welcomed by all of the staff! I also felt safe and well secured. We were shown the first round by a great instructor and ready to be on our way. We will definitely be returning!

This was fun at first but beware... The staff is virtually not present when needed. I was in a dangerous and precarious situation with no assistance anywhere to be found. If you're young, strong and athletic - you will probably do just fine but mix-ups can happen to anyone and I was completely panicked knowing there was not help nearby when I needed it the most. My arm was twisted in the ropes and I am bruised from shoulder to elbow.

How much does it cost and do you need reservations?
Go Ape

Hi Kevin, Go Ape is a 2-3 hour adventure including some really cool treetop swings, obstacles and of course, zip lines. For ages 16+ the cost is $58 and for ages 10-15 it's $38. We do recommend booking online in advance as spots fill up fast on the course. Thanks!

It was around $60-70 p/p. You wouldn't have needed reservations at the time we went but some time slots sell out due to big groups. We reserved via their website. You can see exact prices and what times are available. Have fun!
