The park is nice and clean. Did not walk the paved trail as it was dusk. The directions took us to a neighborhood of cul-de-sacs.

Kansas City has many many parks, many many many of them.

I worked at Gillham Park during my 1974 summer college vacation. This was back when their "swimming pool" was in the shape of an Iron Cross, with the deepest point about 3 feet deep. We had to fill the pool every morning, and empty it every evening. They rebuilt the pool the next year. I kind of miss the old pool.

Kansas City is full of beautiful parks. I believe I remember that there are more parks per square mile in KC than in any other major city.

Do visit Kansas City, where you have more choices than almost anywhere else.

This playground and park is in the middle of a neighborhood. The playground is quite big and there is plenty of room for kids to play. You'll have to park on the street, if you visit, but it's only about fifty feet away from the playground. There is also a short, paved walking trail that goes into a wooded area. It's very family friendly, and since it's a city owned park, it is well taken care of.
