We did this with a 5 year old & 11 year old girl. They had a blast. Be aware they assign you a specific timeframe to go through so you'll need to coordinate that with other things in the area you want to do. Once inside you get 40 minutes for the kids to be as creative as they can.... More

This is free, but they only allow X number of people in during each "session." If you have someone that likes to draw/color, this is a great place to spend some time. The kids have art supplies at their ready to create whatever they want.

My kids love this place and it is FREE! Lots of various art type activities for kids of various ages. When you are done, there's lot of other things to see and do at Crown Center.

Great stop for my four year old daughter. She loves to do art projects and there were plenty to choose from. The best part, free admission. Highly recommend investing the time to visit.

This was a really cool place and a great concept! Stations everywhere containing various art materials to create unique artwork. I saw kids of all ages here. Fun room with a black light and neon markers and hot crayon wax to make pictures. You have to show up and get a ticket for a certain time so there are not... More

We took our two kids (ages 8 and 3) here while on a trip to KC. My 8-year-old was in heaven making all sorts of greatness. My 3-year-old was not as entertained. It was a neat experience, and if we ever head to KC again, we will most certainly stop by. For free, why not?!

This is one of the best places to take kids if you want to encourage their creative sides. They have access to tons of materials and are given free rein to go for it. We've always come away with excited kids. It's one of my favorite places to take classes on field trips.
