Madagascar the Musical is cute, funny, and interactive. Couples, families, and groups were all enticed into moving and clapping. Most Coterie productions are aimed at young children, but Madagascar is lively family entertainment for about the same price as a movie. Crown Center garage parking is usually free with purchase, so enjoy the easy access. Choose to spend time here,... More

This performance was excellent! The cast was engaging, interactive and so talented! The pacing was perfect and the opportunities throughout the production for kids to join in a bit of movement was perfect for a young audience. That being said, there was plenty for adults to enjoy - great vocals, lively dance moves and lines throughout that appealed to adult... More

Fabulous performance today! Would recommend it for all ages! The actors and actresses are very interactive with the audience - it was so much fun. Our first time and we will definitely be going back!

I thought the Coterie Theatre mounted plays aimed only at children and for that reason never went to a production. But in February one of its productions, And Justice for Some:The Freedom Trial of Anthony Burns [1858], caught my attention and I decided to go to see it. The play about a fugitive slave who was living in Boston and... More

We just went last night and saw 'Where the Wild Things Are.' This was our first time and I was surprised at how small the theater was. In actuality, it was the perfect size, because it made the performance more intimate. This show (maybe others too) was very interactive for the kids and the adults. It was great, because it... More

I never knew this place existed. We went with a group to see the Charlie Brown Christmas and it was very well done. The seats were just a little tight for adults by for kids they would be plenty big, and the show itself was great.

We have spotlight tickets to the Coterie and love seeing the musical productions. This was a little different his time. We Enjoyed the Coterie's production of The Miracle Worker. The cast was multi-ethnic. The performance was shadow interpreted and included a 'visual description ' script. I love that our cow town has experiences like this for our children.

We have been to several shows at the Coterie the last couple of years. The really cool part is that the kids get to actually sit ON the stage. Awesome. The two best shows we saw were "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and the currently running "A Year With Frog and Toad" -- which was the best. show. ever!! We liked... More

Year with frog and toad. I could of fallen asleep. Or maybe brought in a beer. But they do not allow food or drinks. Kiddo loved it. That's all that matters right. Pretty packed. Seems all the big bald dads were in the front row. That's my luck. Will be back at kiddos request.

The children are seated at the edge of the stage where they become a part of the setting .. Adults are seated in a theater setting behind them. Seating is based on first come, first serve basis. Get there early to get a good seat. Live characters in a Live performance. Children and Seniors only pay 10.00. UNBELIEVABLE!!! It really... More
