While walking by, saw a poster about a hub cap art display indie the library and decided to visit. The art was very unique and well displayed in a spacious well lit area. While we did not look for any book, saw there was a nice computer area to access the internet. Outside of this library is unique with oversized... More

I only saw the giant books adorming the walls of the library, so I cannot comment on the insdei of the library itself. However, it is worth passing by this display as it is quite unusual and dominates the road. The lovely trees were fourishing and so blocked some of the view in the photos.

Pathetic excuse for a library. I requested a book almost a month ago. Apparently they did not have it, but said they could get it from another library. After a few weeks, I send an email asking the status of my request. They did not bother to respond. Today when I tried to login to see if there was an... More

This is an absolutely amazing and beautiful library. The architecture is wonderful. It's a place you want to go and stay a while. The children's area was so nice I had to peel my granddaughter away. They also have a little cafe. We also enjoyed the parking structure next door that looks like a book shelf. Just a great stop... More

Very nice library in an old bank. Lots of history around the building and of course tons to read. Very friendly staff and security guard. Great way to spend a few hours

Wow, just Wow! If you love books and libraries, or just love old buildings, you will love touring this library. The main hall is three stories tall with massive pictures, and there is often free entertainment...musicians or dancers...there. The children's area is magical. Check the visitor's photos because mere words cannot do it justice. There is a small bistro for... More

Pleasant staff, very helpful. I had questions about the old library, and the information desk had all the answers!

This is one of my favorite buildings in downtown KC. The architecture is beautiful! Try to get to the roof and check out the view. And of course, the giant books on the parking garage are super awesome :)

I spent a few hours at the library before my flight home to kill time with a little reading and it is a beautiful library and very relaxing. Check it out. Parking is a pain (and expensive) but other than that, it's a perfect way to spend a day.
