Premiere arts venue

Beautiful modern building, great acoustics for music and singing. Close to downtown and the crossroads district, ample parking. A great asset for Kansas City.

The building is beautiful, the staff if friendly and helpful. We love it and attend events as often as our budget allows.

We've visited Kauffman several times. Always so entertaining whether for dance or symphony performances! Easy to park nearby. Many dining choices around too.

What a great facility. Beautiful modern architecture, well laid out. Easy parking. As far as the concert hall goes, there does not seem to be a bad seat in the house. This is a great asset to Kansas City

The acoustics are phenomenal. I have visited several times and this is my preferred venue for classical and popular music. (I am going back in March to see Patti LaBelle). There is no bad seat for listening. I enjoy getting dressed up to go. It fits the atmosphere but is not required.

We decided at the last minute to visit the Symphony during our visit to KC. We really just wanted to see the gorgeous building, which looks like the Sidney Opera House! When purchasing tickets, the ticket manager suggested the cheapest seats in the house were actually their favorite seats! Thinking $38 was preferable to $150, we purchased those seats -... More

It has been a long time since we had seen "The Nutcracker", last time was at the Lyric Theater. Talk about a difference! Everything was spectacular from sets to the scenery and the costumes. The performance kept us entranced. It was like we were kids again seeing it for the first time. The dancers were wonderful and the show was... More

We have been to a few events at the Kauffman Center, but recently went to see The Nutcracker. It was a wonderful program and you would enjoy not only the presentation, but the venue, itself. It is beautiful, easily accessible, and the acoustics are fantastic. Do yourself a favor and see a show at this locale.

For the most part, the Nutcracker ballet was wonderful. The Kansas City ballet has added a modern twist to it. I did not care for the modern twist. In the battle between the mice and the soldiers, the mice were doing modern dances like "the dougie" and spinning on their back. I thought it took away from the elegance that... More
