Kansas City may feature parks, fountains, blues and barbecue, but nothing surpasses what is available at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. NOTHING! The KCPA, designed by Moshe Kafdie is an architectural delight. There may be a fine play, opera or symphonic performance that...More

My best friend took me to see Riverdance at the Kauffman Center for my birthday. The architecture is gorgeous. It feels like you've ended up in Sydney, Australia! Inside the building is so bright and airy - gorgeous natural light during the day. It's easy...More

A wonderful building that meets the needs of all the performing venues. My only (minor) quibble is that it gets a bit congested when everyone is leaving after an event. Since we are usually not in any hurry we just hold back until traffic clears...More

We attended a symphony concert at the Performing Arts Center, and it was amazing. The building needs to be experienced. The magnificent atrium seemed that it should be in a Star Wars movie. A photo of the concert is attached.

I would strongly recommend it. Parking is limited and you could pay at time of parking if spaces are available, but pre-paying by buying on-line is your best bet. You could also do street parking but i would not recommend it
