The boyfriend and I visited Kansas City for the first time together. It was a quick weekend trip and we drove from OKC. Our hotel is a short walk from the power and light district. It really is a cool spot to visit! There are several bars and restaurants surrounding an outdoor veranda. It is the party place to visit!!!!... More

We went down there on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. It is THE place to be in KC. We tried drinks at several places and ate at BRGR. There is live music in the KC Live area and there were tons of people and great music. Don't miss hanging out here if you are in KC.

Its amazing to see what happens when savyy investors can to to an old unused area - convert it to a location like this. Its the place to be on a Saturday night, or maybe any night in KC. You can drink, play, eat watch, most of all - just have fun in here. Good for all ages - well... More

I travel to KC 12-15 times a year and never have I been so disappointed in a concert venue as I was for The Lumineers concert on June 10th at Power and Light District. If I would've stuck with the initial general admission tickets that I bought, I may have enjoyed it much more. Three days before the event I... More

Although this area may appeal more to the younger crowd, we are 60+ and really enjoy walking around this area of KC....nice cafes and restaurants, and the area with the large screen that plays local sporting events is a fun place. Go during the week if u can, less crowded for sure.

My boyfriend and I attended a Tech N9ne concert last Thursday. The venue was amazing for live music. It is semi indoor & outdoor. It was pouring rain that night but since there was a covering above, no one got wet. The venue is surrounded by multiple bars and pubs so after the concert is over, the party can continue.... More

This is an extremely unique design in a downtown setting. There are multiple bars styles present from rock, country, dance, Irish pub, sports bar, and brew pub. More beer and liquor types than I can mention. But, if you want to drink, then you will find what you want. Seats are all over from upper level to lower level. People... More

It is not a very comfortable atmosphere , The drinks are over priced , the food is so so but not worth the hassle of parking . There are cops all over the place , And for how new is is , it is very filthy . I would not recommend it to my friends . I would recommend it... More

If your in Kansas City and looking for the place to go to eat drink and be merry this is the place for you. Huge court yard with a huge TV and stage. We had teenagers with us so we ate, walked around there are a few nice shops but more for the over 21 crowd.

We walked the area and then finally settled on The Flying Saucer. The list of brews was plenty~We sat down on the comfy couch!. Brew was good and so was the people watching!
