Had a beautiful array of flowers, was peaceful, free of charge, went as a couple and enjoyed the time together there.

Strolling through the very well laid out gardens is a treat to the senses. On one visit a wedding party was gathering for a native ceremony in front of the unique fountain/pool. There is always something going on that is a visually exceptional occasion, but there are many areas to sit and quietly regard the lovely surrounds even if filled... More

Beautiful spot to stop and take a stroll! We were on Segway tour and stopped here. Even though it was winter and little was blooming, the indoor trees and plants were nice and the resident fat cat was sunning himself in the window basket.

A really nice small garden area in the city. Even though it was Thanksgiving time and the flowers were mostly gone, this is a special place. Nicely done paths and an atrium with a large, fat cat guarding it. Can't wait to come back and see it in the spring or summer!

This wonderful garden is a great place to bring your lunch and hang out. Anyone that needs a little break during the day should just drop by and walk around. The resident cat is cool too.

This garden is beautifully designed and landscaped. Each season, they update it, so we saw fall mums in addition to the various native plants there. It has several magnolia trees growing against a wal and a wonderful fountain. It is an easy walk with paved sidewalks.

Though this garden is small it is definitely well cared for and quite colorful. It's a nice spot for a quick escape from the daily stress or some quiet meditation. There's many other things to see in the Kansas City area so I wouldn't make a special trip to see it but if you're in the area or have exhausted... More

The garden was very pretty and peaceful! There were a dozen Monarch butterflies enjoying the flowers as well. It was fun to take pictures and include the doors, windows, gates, etc. A fun, quiet place to visit. Loved the statues and water features.

I found the garden enjoyable and relaxing. We very much enjoyed the butterflies and other pollinators. The season was late for flowers so the grounds were not so bright but most satisfying. The Powell gardens runs the gardens. We drove the distance,31miles to enjoy those gardens.
