Great idea, but needs updated
Nov 2020 • Family
This place was really cheesy for us, we were not impressed. There were small rooms set up with props so that you could take your pictures however you wished. Some of the rooms and some of the props were kind of silly and cheesy. I went with my 11 son, he was not enthused. This place is either for a group of young teens that are willing to get downright goofy. Maybe a family with kids 7 and younger. Or maybe a couple, but I would not suggest first free dates, you may feel awkward doing this with people you don’t know well. A couple that has no problem laughing with themselves and at each other. The idea was cool. Would go back to something like this; they just need to think harder about their themes and bring in better props.

The illusions and displays there are pretty cool and trippy. However, it was much smaller than we expected. I think we were able to go through the whole thing in about 30-45 minutes. If you visit Union Station and have some time to spare, it's definitely worth the visit.

Fun for all ages!
Jun 2021 • Family
This was a fun find while visiting Union Station. There is actually a lot to see. Some reviewers mentioned it isn't very big for the price, but there are a lot of displays. They just don't require that much room. We had a blast (family of three, including 19 y.o. son). The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful!! I recommend it for any age!

Good not great. Pricey.

What they do have is neat but you have seen most of these things before. The vortex room is the highlight if you can handle vertigo. The ‘Wonka Room’, as I like to call it, is fun for pics. For the amount of things they have I believe it is priced too high.

Teens had fun and wheelchair accessibility rating 4.5
Jun 2021 • Family
This was a great place to visit! We went with two teenagers and they had fun!!! The people were friendly and helpful!

I rate it a 4.5 for wheelchair accessibility! The place was spacious and the were only 3 activities I wasn’t able to do.

Located INSIDE Union Station
Jun 2021
Might be more fun for kids. The staff were helpful at taking pictures if asked. They had a small gift shop mostly of wooden brain-teaser puzzles. The biggest problem we had was finding it, as it is located inside Union Station on the basement floor.

This is a hidden gem inside Union Station. The place is small, but holds interesting experiences. You can get a lot of social media photos here. New profile picture. New cover photo. Instagram pics.

Small, but Fun!
Apr 2021
Union Station is pretty close to the W.W. I Museum. There are some really cool aspects to this place. I love the mirrored hexagon and I now see how Hollywood pulls off this trick of multiple images. This is a fun place to spend 30 min. to an hour. Because of the expense, this might not be the best budget friendly activity for a larger family. However, if you are visiting Kansas City, have a few extra minutes and dollars, you might as well head over and take a picture of you while playing cards with several dopplelgangers!

Really cool!

My favorite part were the holograms and the infinity room. This is a small museum that certainly packs a really cool punch. Worth the small entrance fee.

Quite a small affair. Some illusions were great, others a bit so- so, Kids had a great time. Staff is very attentive, polite and friendly. Best value was family ticket.
