Great park with rose garden

Very nice park with lots of open areas, rose garden, and even some historical things like a cannon from the civil war. Good stop for the family

My lady and I took our dog early last Saturday morning for a tour of the Rose Garden. The time and effort the Kansas City Rose Garden put into this is incredible. I'm thankful to live close by and enjoy it often.

We attended our nephew's wedding in the Rose Garden at Loose Park and it was wonderful location. We had about 120, but it could easily have accommodated many more.

There is nothing better in Kansas City than grabbing lunch at one of the many nearby local eateries and taking it to Loose Park for a leisurely afternoon under the trees. This Kansas City gem is absolutely free, gorgeous, and a great little oasis in the middle of the city.

If you are staying in the City, this is a must! The garden is very well maintained and the roses are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately we got rained out, but it was still a very enjoyable time. Take the time to walk around and smell the roses! Such an amazing place; I can’t wait to go back!

Visited while traveling through Kansas City as we had seen most of the main attractions on other trips. This is a perfect time of the year to enjoy the rose garden because they were all blooming. Beautifully kept garden with all roses identified.

Easy access to pretty garden near Country Club Plaza. Close off-street parking with free admission. Although I wouldn't consider it a "destination attraction" if traveling from out of town, include it in your other plans, or if around the Plaza.

The Loose Park Rose Garden is located in Loose park just south of the Country Club Plaza, minutes from down town, This expanse of green in the middle of the city is well used by the locals. The rose garden, even when the blooms are not at their peak is delightful. Even in the fall, many roses continue to bloom,... More

If you have somewhat of a green thumb, this is a nice place to spend a morning or afternoon viewing the different plants grown in the Midwest.
