Wouldn't make this my destination, but enjoyed the visit.

Nice to see the Hallmark ornaments & Maxine was there too! My daughter has collected the mischievous kitten ornament since their beginning in 1999.

I think you have to be really in to Hallmark to appreciate this sort of thing. The company presents itself as some kind of national institution, however I kept thinking - Geez, how many overpriced greeting cards did people have to buy to pay for all of this. Glad the tour was free. At least we only wasted our time... More

As a purchaser of hundreds of Hallmark cards and a fan of their shows, a stop here was a must. There is s great overview of the business from inception today. It's a walk down memory lane seeing card designs, ornaments and movie banners. The self guided tour included making a bow and a photo op. Allow at least 45... More

We stumbled upon the Hallmark Center on a quick walk while taking a break at meeting. Shops are fun…did you know that Hallmark makes Crayola? For kids, there are fun photo ops, lego sculptures, and a free Mr. Potato Head event. There is a fudge shop and candy shop to make you drool. Check it out!

We walked to this place from UMKC. There were several venues there for families. We decided to walk through the museum. Our baby boomer generation grew up with Hallmark cards and it was interesting to read and view the exhibits. I would not say this place is a destination but if you happen to be in the area, it is... It was ok. If you think you are going to see any production, you won't. It is a walkthrough of all their ornaments. There is a machine to make a tiny bow, but you can barely see it happen. I was very disappointed. Not even a working video. Tiny gift shop-why bother. We should not. Have wasted the time getting... More

We loved seeing the Christmas trees gifted to Mr. Hall by his talented employees and learning the history of the company through the video. Definitely recommend!

If you are an avid collector of Hallmark Keepsake ornaments, you will definitely enjoy spending up to an hour at this free attraction. We enjoyed the displays, which contained a number of the ornaments we have at home. You can also learn about their greeting cards, the company history, the Hallmark Hall of Fame TV program, and get a souvenir... More
