Facility Closed.

This facility is closed through summer of 2021. Really??? Restrictions lifted, time to re-open. How disappointing for this long time Hallmark club member.

Time Well Spent!
Oct 2019
What a fun way to learn about Hallmark!
I only had a very short time here but it was time well spent and gave me so much information. The passion and creativity shows thru in each and every presentation. Thank you for the excellent "behind the scenes" view of this iconic company!
p.s. It was FREE!!!!

free, parking may not be

I will not lie that I’m a bit curmudgeon about the greeting card industry (I think it’s a racket for what you pay) but this visitor center was free, and certainly did the job promoting their company. Walked around for maybe 30ish mins at least. Lady that worked the front desk was pleasant, and the area around Crown Center seemed like it had some dining/shopping options. I did not stick around to explore all that.

Parking in the garage at the corporate area there might cost you. I don’t remember what I paid, but if you are spending time in the area besides the visitor center it would be worth the convenience.

We found our visit here to be just right. We arrived and were greeted by a host who showed us to a theater room where we watched a very informative short video about the history of Hallmark cards. We then wandered through the museum at our own pace taking in the many displays. We especially loved the bow-making machine and the Christmas trees! The gift shop employee was super friendly also. It took us about an hour but you could certainly spend longer! We will definitely recommend this little KC gem to others.

What a fun place to learn about Hallmark
Oct 2019
This may not have been on my radar when we got to town, but so glad we went. Lots of history of the cards and family. Fun to see how Hallmark has grown over the years. They have an Oscar! Lots of fun. Go.

Hallmark means History
Nov 2019
Who knew the history of Hallmark goes back over 100 years. This is a more of a museum then a visitors center. Lots to see if you go thru the museum. Will take about 45 minutes or so. I am not much into Hallmark cards, but then again, I don't buy them.

Hallmark makes me happy!
Nov 2019
Stopped in at the Hallmark Visitors Center again and remain impressed with the Hallmark history on display. The story of the company's founding, showcasing the artists' work, and displaying cards and ornaments through the years makes this a great walk down memory lane. A mechanical bow making machine which you operate at the push of a button is fun, and you take the bow with you as a keepsake. A brief movie tells the Hallmark story, and if you have not seen it, is definitely worth the time. A small gift shop inside the center offers some unique products. This is free and well worth the time. Enjoy!
