When you visit this center, be sure to watch the well-done movie about J.C. Hall, founder of Hallmark cards. The visitor center has interesting displays about the history and development of Hallmark cards and products, but the movie is great! It's a free museum. Mr. Hall's determination to market cards, along with his brothers, brought this company from distributing postcards... More

What a great tribute to the Hallmark history in our country - right here in Kansas City! It is a great family event with kids activities. Very inspiring, entertaining, & educational.

This is a good place to learn about Hallmark history. You can learn how the cars are made and view vintage ornaments. There are also some nice artworks. This is a free place to visit. I would not go out of my way to visit, but if you are in the area, I would recommend spending an hour here.

From the beautiful four seasons mural to the gratis post cards this center was well organized and beautiful. The rags to riches story of the founder and his brothers and his kids was truly all-American. It was surprising to learn about the companies connection to Winston Churchill, Walt Disney and Norman Rockwell. The receptionist was very friendly and fine ambassador... More

Nice self guided tour showing the history of a company that probably the majority of the country knows through their greeting cards, Christmas ornaments, and tv shows.

We've been to the KC area several times and each time the visitors center has always been closed or we couldn't make it based on our schedule. We finally had a chance to stop and see it. It was a hidden surprise and well worth the visit. You can see the history of Hallmark cards, wrapping paper, movies. Lots of... More

We learned so much during our brief visit. Suggest taking the time to see the video. It lasts about 15 minuted,is well done, and very informative. Particularly enjoyed seeing the Christmas tree display.

Hallmark is not only an iconic brand known the world over but has become part of ‘Pop Culture’ in a way I’m sure most people can say they’ve had a ‘Hallmark Moment’, although I admit I’ve grown up in a cynical world and probably used another term at certain times of the year. So whilst in Kansas the opportunity to... More

Hallmark Cards is a household name, come to this museum and find out how it got that way. The story of JC Hall is very well done, presented in true Hallmark style and class. Interesting displays that don't take a lot of time to read and process. The staff was very outgoing and engaging.

Hallmark has done a great job putting together a free attraction that was enjoyable for the whole family. This is the second time I've been. My kids both love the bow machine where you can make a souvenir to take home. My favorite part is seeing all of the keepsake ornaments. I would recommend making this a part of an... More
