Loose Park has everything one could possibly desire in a park: lots of tree- lined acreage, playground, tennis courts, walking trail, pond, bridges, rose garden, historical markers. And it's all located a short walk from the Country Club Plaza.

This is a nice place go running, walking or play tennis. There is also a lot of open space for activities like a picnic or pick-up football. I really enjoy taking my girlfriend here to walk around the water pond and rose garden.

Loose Park was full of pedestrians enjoying the last of the roses, the fountains, and the grounds. There is a lovely fountain by the rose garden, and so many opportunities for taking photos. The park was full of groups - engagement photos, senior pictures, family reunions, weddings, all taking their turns and getting great pictures in beautiful settings. In about... More

This park is great for all ages. The beautiful fountain has benches so you can sit and enjoy your surroundings. There are various gardens. The rose garden was my favorite since there is such a large variety. It has paved sidewalks so it is an easy place to take a stroll. Don't miss this gem!.

Every Sunday afternoon that is blessed with good weather, you can find drums on the loose in Loose Park! Just call it Rumba Sunday. The Rumberos are drumming, singing and dancing dedicated to the Cuban style of Rumba. They drum under a tree dedicated to a great drummer and teacher from Cuba who taught most of them to play. This is a large urban park with lovely scenery and peaceful paths among the flowers and trees. I esp. like the little bridge near the willows. It's famous for its rose garden, but I prefer the other side of the park myself.
