Most of the reviews here fail to mention what a nice neighborhood Loose Park is in. There are well-kept houses all around the park, many of them rather expensive. A house across the street just south of the park was used in the 1990 movie "Mr. and Mrs. Bridge," starring Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. The park is only a... More

It a beautiful park with lots of flowers in the botanical area. Great place to get a run or walk in. The playground area is great for kids.

Loose Park is beautiful and quite spread out. There are many spots for picnics or larger get togethers and of course the rose garden is a must see. We love the pond with water fountain and it is a favorite spot for pictures. It's a great place to take the grandkids for a run around and to feed the ducks.

Loose park is a beautiful historical park in KC, MO. It has tennis courts, rolling fields, a large fountain/lake with ducks, rose garden, and bathrooms. Great place to visit on Saturdays when there are interesting locals to watch. People are putting up hammocks between park trees on Saturdays and taking naps. Plenty of trash cans. No dog trash bags dispensers.

Rose garden, pond, ducks, trees. Plenty of room for frisbee, old fashioned picnic, juggle, playing fetch with Fido. Spring and Fall are outstanding but great place to go year round.

A nexus of Kansas City public life. Beautiful Rose Garden in the Summer, historic location and history. KC's premiere urban park.

I have come here many times, both to sit and relax with my family in the shade or sun of the wide open space on the nicely mowed lawn OR to run on the track around the park. Tennis courts, flowers, running track...Love it.

One of the original golf course sites in Kansas City, bought and converted into city park nearly 100 years ago, has everything for a relaxing day, shelters, picnic tables, gardens, walking trails, and vast expanses of grass fields to play on
