I have done several brewery tours over the years and this may be the best. The history off the company is a true American success story and is well presented. The tour is brief and informative, and there is the typical tasting stop at the end. But best of all, there is a casual tavern area featuring beer by the... More

I hadn't been here since the new beer hall was opened, it is bright and airy, nice place to enjoy a brew. tour was good as usual. Sampled the Kolsch, unfiltered wheat, lemon-ginger radler, and the pale ale. All were very good, the Radler would be a great summer sipping beer. Kolsch and unfiltered wheat daily drinkers IMO. I'm not... More

This is a much more light hearted tour than the Budweiser Brewery tour in St Louis. Even the things to look at in the waiting area are very amusing. Without giving away any secrets, this tour starts off quickly with the reason every one is on it. Then it goes up and down a number of stairways to see various... More

Honestly I'm not much of a craft beer fan but we had an open afternoon so we decided to go on one of the free tours. Our guide was very informative and each tour member got three 4oz samples to try. The brewery itself is very clean and modern and has a nice gift shop and entry area to hang... More

Boulevard Brewery opened their 10,000 square foot beer hall to grateful Kansas City beer-lovers in July 2016; the interior of this 1929 building has been completely renovated; wood features prominently. The spacious and airy hall is on the second floor. Seating is a mixture of bar stools, benches, ‘high’ and ‘low’ tables, the latter being on an outdoor balcony. Twenty-four... More

I met here with a business group. It was extremely hot in Kansas City that day and the air conditioning was apparently out. We were on the top floor and it was really warm. The had a great selection of brews and plenty of room inside and outside on the deck. This would be a great place to meet in... More

We were lucky enough to get a spot on the 1:30 brewery tour, our guide was funny, educated and very informative. The complementary beer was a huge plus is well. Decor inside the facility is very well done and tasteful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside I saw was that the giftshop prices were pretty high. But, I... More

Fun and interesting place to visit and find out how Boulevard Beer is made. Tour guide made it lots of fun. Admission is free and they give you a few samples of beer along the way. The first tour started at 10:30 AM and was pretty crowded. They have a real nice gift shop, too. Wear closed toe shoes (otherwise... More

We went on the free tour on a Tuesday afternoon. We got there about an hour early to get our tickets and have some lunch. You definitely need to get there early to save your spot. Our tour was full with 25 people. Be sure to wear closed toed shoes! The friendly and funny tour guide taught us about the... More
