Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren and Jackie Brown. We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere

Puddleducks have gone from strength to strength - you can now get small meals there. We had a cheeseboard while sampling the wines & it was delicious.

Complete with ducks, a duck pond, winery dogs and a lovely garden (with playground), this is a winery not to be missed. The duck themed shop is a lovely touch!

I'm not really a drinker, but here, that simply doesn't matter. The staff (family owners) are delightfully accommodating and knowledgeable. I did try some wines and was educated about their features. From a non-wine drinker, they were delightful (although they do offer a non-alcoholic verduce (no idea how to spell it, but I can drink it well! Delicious!!). We indulged... More

Always great to drop in at Puddleduck vineyard. How wonderful to see it expand over the years. We don't drink wine ourselves but always drop in for a look and a chat, and to get wine for others (who always say it is the best!). These wonderful people are obviously doing a lot right, every success to them - we... More

What a Wonderful setting, the Lake sparkled as did the staff. Access is via a ramp for wheel chairs, it gets a bit cramped in the shop its self. Coffee is old fashioned plunger style, for four people it was just adequate. The desert menu was great for the winter season. Good choice of Biscuits and Cakes. Puddle Duck would... More

Who would have thought kids would love a winery as much as the adults. I went with friends and their kids and the kids loved the playground and duck feeding. They even have kids packs to keep them occupied. We took a picnic and ordered wines by the glass. They even came outside and offered blankets when the weather got... More

Excellent service and wine tasting experience, just sorry that I had eaten 5 minutes before down the road! Great place to sit and shop/ dining facilities unique, very clean and attractive. Certainly took a bottle of Pinot to be kept for a few more years as well as the absolutely delicious grape juice. Top notch destination and Nick is a... More

Reverse BYO -"Take your own food" if you wish even have a BBQ on the lawn. Or try their platters with your wine. Plenty of play equipment for the kids, food to buy to feed the ducks. Gretas spot to enjoy with out the hard sell of a "seller door" LOL Go visit !!

We had driven past Puddleduck as I must admit we were put off by the name. As we had time to spare before our flight we thought we'd drop in. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We ended up staying for lunch which showcased local and some not so local Tassie produce. Note: the platters are quite generous, they are... More

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the best Pinot Noir in Tassie is at Puddleduck!! Stopping in for lunch & a tasting we were made to feel right at home. Great wine, delicious food, friendly staff, an amazing location & of course plenty of ducks - do yourself a favour!!
