We had an epic afternoon with Captain Chingalin and guide Ali! We saw 7 whale breaches, including one very close to the boat, and got to hear the whales sing. Ali was very informative about the whales and answered all the questions everyone had on the boat. Chingalin was an expert at navigating and finding all the whales for us to watch. Would definitely do this tour with La Orca de Sayulita again!

This trip was amazing! I am kind of jaded when it comes to whale watching, having been a life long fisherman I've seen plenty of whales... Our family of 4 were blown away! I personally had my best day ever whale watching. We saw numerous whales breaching, fighting, chilling out, etc. Mother and calf? Check. Males fighting, Check. Breaching about 30 meters from the boat? Check. Whale swimming under the boat? Check. Allison the marine biologist really knows the whales and their behavior. She called it when a whale showed its pectoral fin above the water- It is gonna breach in a minute or 2! Spot on!!!! The capitan knew what he was doing, and the boat has a canopy for shade. Their panga was the only 100hp 4 stroke yamaha that I saw- No 2 stroke fumes. We had the best experience! Our adult children didn't have much prior experience, and they had a fantastic time!

Our guides were fun, personable, and very knowledgeable. Nico, Walter, and Angel we're great. I loved the small panga boats. They were perfect for whale watching. I also appreciate the whale research they do. I would definitely take a tour with La Orca de Sayulita again.
