This convent is not very old (relatively), but it has it's own miraculous icon of Our Lady. The buildings are very beautiful, especially the bell tower. But the most astonishing church is situated underground, in handmade caves (6 meters under the surface). When the monks...More

Golden top is elegant even i like blue or colourful ones even more. However, seeing this by real eyes would still be attractive. You are suggested to look around and go inside too

Visited this place which has underground Churches carved out from caves/walls by monks in the past and where there's natural spring water. Across from the monastery is a pond and the place is full of ducks and absolutely beautiful.

This should be called a monastery as there were no nuns present. In fact the deacon who showed us around was firm in saying this was a monastery. The whole monastery has had multiple uses over the years and has only recently been restored to...More

Hi, it seems, you are mistaking me for somebody else. I don't do Moscow tours (at least for now). Besides, I'm sure, that 2,5 hour is absolutely not enough for sightseeing. It will take you not less than an hour only to get... More
