A convenient spot to pull off the road and enjoy the view of Lake Taneycomo, Table Rock Dam, and even the southern portion of Branson. The elevated position provides you with a spectacular panoramic scene, although a pair of binoculars would be helpful to see things more clearly. Similarly, while the sights are beautiful, there isn't any signs and/or details to help clarify what you're looking at.

This is one of many of the free things to see in Brandon.The. natural wonders of this area they cant put a fee on Gods creation. The rest you will average $20 a person. Trust me nature and a hotel room worth the price. Anything else run away, wallet in hand.

We found this on trip advisor and so glad we went there! The view is spectacular. From the overlook you can see the dam & lake, the river, Branson, and much more.
This is a must do while in the Branson area! Don’t Miss it! So peaceful. We didn’t want to leave!
Make sure to look for the lock that the tree has grown around below the overlook in the picture I posted.

This is a great place to see the Branson and Table Rock Lake area. We were glad that we brought our binoculars to see places far away and try to find our resort too. It's a good place to get a panorama except for the one tree that's in the middle to ruin your photo.

Our bus driver had some extra time so he took us to this beautiful site. An interesting thing at the stop, was all of the pad locks that were left of the protective fence. Don't really know why they are left there! Thank you Charlie

This overlook is a great place to see much of Branson below you. And, best of all, it is free! make sure you drive all the way around the smaller lake and cross over the dam.

Had driven by many times and finally stopped at this overlook. Absolutely stunning view. Also some interesting plaques with information. Easy parking.

Worth driving this highway to pull off and take in the expansive view overlooking Branson. Large pull off area along the highway.

If you are staying on the strip or downtown it is only about a ten or fifteen minute drive to see the awesome view of the strip from the scenic overlook. there is an extra lane just to pull off and park to see the view. This is well worth your time to get some awesome pics of Branson from the next mountain.

We go to the College of the Ozarks to eat at the Keeter Center in Dobyns Restaurant every trip to Branson. We always go by way of 165 so we can stop at this scenic overlook. It has a fantastic view overlooking the area that is south of 176 and east of 165 from the Table Rock Lake dam to the Fall Creek Road area. It is a great view. You only need binoculars if you really want to see everything up close, but the areas that are in view are really not that far away so binoculars are really not required.

Why were the padlocks removed from the scenic overlook fence overlooking Branson?

Could they be in remembrance of anyone or something
