This is a great place to hike. The trails are well marked and the scenery is spectacular. It's not to hilly but can can get a good workout.

We hiked the 3 mile trail at Valley View Glades in 35 degree weather with very strong winds. Despite the cold weather, the hike was gorgeous. I would call the trail more rugged than moderate, consisting of loose rocks, mud, tree roots and water. It will give one a workout with the ups/downs encountered on the trail. The stream that runs throughout the valley is beautiful as are the limestone beds in the waterfalls. The trail is well marked and we had no trouble following it. I used a hiking stick as there are several sharp descents and steep inclines that were slick with mud and/or wet spots. We had to detour off the trail several times to avoid particularly muddy spots. The terrain while rugged, also shows prairie like areas in the valley. Great hike; would do it again.…

This is a clean, and relaxing place to enjoy the outdoors. Perfect place to take an afternoon hike, no real place to camp over night.
