The wine trail was good to experience but I thought there would be a lot more wine at each place to try. Stone Hill was the only one that had multiple to try.

Thanks for your review. The Hermann Wine Trail promotes our event as a wine and food pairing, and each winery features a specific wine that pairs with the food they created for that event. Each of the wineries have general wine tasting that is separate form the wine trail event. Some of the wineries charge for this tasting and some... More

For $15 they put a wrist band on you for unlimited trolley rides to and from the wineries. So worth it! Only wish is that they went to the wineries that are further out- they only go to the 5 centrally located (Adam Puchta, Stone Hill, Hermannhof, Star Lane, Oak Glenn). Nevertheless, the trolley rides themselves are fun!

We rode the Amtrak down to Hermann on Friday morning and rode the trolley to the wineries. The only problem we had was that we didn't know that the trolley only runs to five of the seven main wineries. I'd suggest spending one day doing wineries and the another walking around town because there is A LOT to see! All... More

In one day we visited 8 wineries, 2 breweries, 1 distillery...and we could have done more if we'd had the time. It was a perfect day.

Very knowledgable yet very personal and down to earth staff! Enjoyed the wine tasting very much. The old building is beautiful and was only a couple minutes from the Herman Hill Bed & Breakfast.

Beautiful scenery and recreational opportunities. The existence of so many wineries in the middle of Missouri is just amazing. That along with the wonderful katy trail (for bike riding) along the Missouri River makes for a wonderful trip. Several good restaurants of German heritage in the area of provide for exceptional dining experiences at very reasonable rates.

Loved the bike trail around the bluffs and some of the wineries. We took a long bike ride stopped by a deli and had a picnic before another winery!

Every other winery on the tour was good to excellent, but Bias was horrible. Dark dingy tasting room. Unfriendly staff. Expensive tasting, bad wines. Do yourself a favor and skip Bias.
