We have been to Adam Puchta winery several times, and we have always been very satisfied. They have a broad selection of wines for every palate. Tastings are available for a small fee. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines they make. I definitely recommend this winery if you are in the Hermann, Missouri area.

The Adam Puchta Winery is out in the country to the southwest of Hermann. It's not a long drive. The wine here was okay, and the wine slushies were fine. We found better wineries elsewhere. Overall it's a 3/5.

First stop of our wine tasting trip. There seemed to be little direction at first as we didn't know where to go. When we went into the tasting area it was very crowded a a minute or so later a staff member asked us to go back outside until there was room. Not sure why they weren't at the door to start with. After that they did have an employee at the door and controlled the flow much better. The person that handled out tasting was very nice and answered questions easily. They had live music, but it was in a different section that we didn't go over to.

It’s a pretty winery outside of Hermann but, unfortunately, we did not do a wine tasting because the wine tasting room was crowded to the point that people had to back up for us to enter (it also serves as the entrance point to the shop) and we didn’t see any Covid precautions in place. Slightly weird because previous reviews said there were precautions in place. Maybe it’s hit or miss depending on the staff. They have a large, attractive outdoor space that they could utilize but weren’t. We bought a couple of bottles to try at home and left. I’d return here in non-Covid times but right now I’d say only visit if you feel comfortable in crowded indoor spaces. For us, it was a disappointing visit.

Hello. Thank you for your review. We are sorry you feel the way you do about your visit to APW. Given the circumstances we are doing the best we can with what we have. October is the busiest time of year to visit Hermann and on Saturday’s we do do tastings outdoors to minimize how many are in our tasting room but sadly, on Sundays we do not have enough employees to do so. We do have signs posted on the tasting room door that asks people to please socially distance themselves, and we have shared that on social media many times as well. We do utilize plexiglass dividers at the counters and have heightened our sanitation guidelines, including using disposable cups instead of glass, sanitizing frequently and hand sanitizing stations on our premises. Again, we are doing the best we can under the circumstances, our only other option would be to not offer tastings and perhaps close our doors but many rely on us. We hope that you will return sometime to get the full APW experience that we pride ourselves on. We might recommend a slower time of year. Thank you again.

We always enjoy visiting this winery when in hermann but was nervous because of COVID-19. My husband and I were satisfied with their precautions, and as usual enjoyed the tasting and the wine we purchased.
