We booked early for this dinner cruise and I was glad we did. It was a full boat and everyone working was very helpful. We had a wonderful dinner with quiet music entertainment by a guitar/beat box duo. Dress was very casual and the atmosphere was relaxing. After dinner, we sat on the upper deck to enjoy the cruise down... More

The QE II or even the Delta Queen this isn't. But it's kind of like Hannibal itself: a slice of Midwestern kitsch that fits in well with the fence painting, cave touring, house and museum visiting that is part and parcel of a visit to Mark Twain's hometown. The bar prices are reasonable; the food reminiscent of family reunion picnics... More

The people that work for this establishment are so friendly! Everyone that I encountered was always smiling and willing to chat. We had a nice table next to the window so I was able to see all the views. There was a band playing some classical music and the waitresses served drinks. The food was served buffet style. The only... More

I'd opt for the one-hour boat ride due to the food on the dinner cruise. I broke my own rule and went on this dinner ride, and I won't make that mistake again. I don't like buffets either, although this one was organized so avoided the vultures hovering over food effect that generally ensues. They made an announcement that one... More

The food prep was very good and tasty and served buffet style. Crew made announcements as to when to begin going through the line and where to purchase drinks. A nice, quiet, relaxing cruise a short distance up and the river from Hannibal for a couple of hours. The sunset on the river was great.

Okay... so, you travel to the hometown of America's author (yeah, I'm probably a bit biased) and the favorite son creates his pen name from a river boating term. You go on the Riverboat Cruise! We went midday, so there was no dinner (night time cruise only). We enjoyed the history, the peaceful stroll down the river and back up... More

We chose this for our wedding anniversary. This was a great evening. All of the crew were very friendly and boarding/check-in was easy. The entertainment for the evening was an amazingly talented high school piano player who played every type of music anybody would want to hear. From ragtime, to jazz, to popular hits, he really made the evening exceptional.... More

Positives: smooth ride, historic location, above-average buffet Negatives: average scenery, average view Riding boats of all kinds has become one of our favorite vacation pastimes. Given our interest it was only natural to book passage aboard the Mark Twain riverboat. We debated which cruise to take: one of the daytime one-hour trips, or the sunset dinner cruise. We've enjoyed dinner... More

Was in Hannibal on a road trip with my brother and saw this attraction on a brochure in our Hotel. We did not want to do the dinner cruise just the daytime and this was an available choice. About an hour on the river and it was very informative and humourous. COld drinks and snacks available during the day tour.... More

I did not take the dinner cruise only the sightseeing cruise. It is fun and interesting but kind of short for the money, a few minutes short of an hour. Boat goes slow so you don't really travel that far.
