We enjoyed the 4 pm cruise on the river. It lasted 1 hour. Snacks and beverages as well as souvenirs are available for purchase. The boat has indoor and outdoor seating. It can be a quite peaceful trip. A windbreaker/raincoat might be a good option as well as sun screen. The captain told river stories and also corny jokes. It was fun. I would do it again. I would consider the dinner cruise If it is available.

We took the sightseeing cruise, so there was no dinner. It cost $65 for an adult, a teen, and a tween. Cruises left at 11, 1:30, and 4, and we were advised to arrive at least a half an hour early. They take your photo before you board and try to sell it to you when you disembark. The narration was interesting. Definitely wear sunblock. I'm very glad to have taken the trip and recommend it.

My wife and I did the dinner cruise on Aug. 21 and could not have had a better time! The weather was perfect, the scenery going up and down the river was beautiful, the captain's historic info and comments were interesting and fun, the crew, waiters, waitresses and the bartenders were all friendly and helpful. The dinner and drinks were great! We also really enjoyed the jazz band. Those guys are a very talented group of musicians! And to top it all off, we were treated to a gorgeous sunset to be followed by the rise of a beautiful, full, harvest moon!
This riverboat cruise was everything we hoped it would be, and I highly recommend going! The Mark Twain and her crew get "10's" from us from start to finish!

What a wonderful experience! We went on the dinner cruise with a party of twenty family members and had a great time. Relaxed watching the shore as the boat smoothly floated along. Dinner was typical buffet. Beer, wine and cocktails were reasonably priced - iced tea and water were free. Music was a combination of recorded and live. Dancing was fun. Will do this again sometime.

Four of us vacation together and when visiting Hannibal, we booked a Mark Twain Riverboat Cruise for a Monday evening. The weather was very nice as well as the accommodations on the riverboat. The food was okay - good - but we expected a little more for $55/pp. However, the entertainment was a musician who was very enjoyable. As we took our cruise down the Mississippi, we sat and enjoyed this musician who knew every song requested as well as a plethora of his own choices. Since Jimmy Buffet had recently passed, he did several of his songs.
I works recommend this as one thing to do while visiting Mark Twain’s hometown.

A very nice relaxing 1 hour tour of the river around Hannibal. LOTS of history and good stories. The Riverboat is well maintained and the crew is efficient and respected all of the COVID-19 restrictions. The weather for our cruise was absolutely perfect for early NOVEMBER!

A must-do in Hannibal, and the experience itself was wonderful. Nice tour, plenty of seating, interesting information and history from the pilot and guide. Especially loved hearing about the families of Hannibal who helped preserve some of its history, and the islands in the middle of the River. It was somewhat disappointing to arrive on time only to learn that our scheduled 1:30pm tour was running 30 minutes late because of a specially-scheduled private tour in progress. We were lucky that we had scheduled our Cameron Cave tour tickets for 4:30 instead of 3:30 because otherwise we would have missed it. I understand wanting to fit in another tour that isn't normally scheduled but that should work around the already-scheduled tours. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, a wonderful experience for us and the kids.

We enjoyed both the sightseeing tour (on April 1] and the dinner cruise (on April 12). The sightseeing tour was very informative. It was a beautiful, smooth cruise on the Mississippi. The dinner cruise had great live music (instrumental and vocals). The service was top notch (from the bar tender who made the kids great non-alcoholic drinks to the cruise director Tammy, to the very pleasant and hard working Aubrielle). This was a gorgeous 2 hour cruise going further south than the day time one. It was reasonably priced for such a nice meal, entertainment and River cruise! We all loved the food (salad, macaroni salad, green beans, baked potatoes, rolls, chicken, beef, dessert, tea or water). We all left with full bellies.

We were on an afternoon cruise, so we did not have the dinner. The tour was informative, relaxing and enjoyable...a wonderful way to take in the grandeur of the Mississippi River. It was easy to imagine a young Samuel Clemens, and how his life in Hannibal and on the river shaped him. Our guide's stories about the river and the islands brought Twain's characters to life. We saw several large grain barges on our tour, which was quite impressive.

Check-in was easy. The riverboat crew was fantastic. We were seated at our reserved table quickly and the boat left right on time.
Live music was very good. The buffet consisted of roast beef, chicken breasts, green beans, baked potatoes, salad, macaroni salad, and rolls. One trip. It was decent food. Cupcake for dessert. The buffet was taken done shortly after everyone was through the line.
Servers were very attentive with water and tea refills. Clean up of tables was quick.
The boat went a little bit North and turned to go South. Not much information about the river other than the barges that we passed.
