We had good food and service for the price paid. Nice dinner cruise with some music from a guy on the saxophone. This was a dinner cruise, but we thought they would give some details of the surroundings as we traveled the river. We could see the shore as we traveled, but no explanation of what we saw.

Check-in was easy. The riverboat crew was fantastic. We were seated at our reserved table quickly and the boat left right on time. Live music was very good. The buffet consisted of roast beef, chicken breasts, green beans, baked potatoes, salad, macaroni salad, and rolls. One trip. It was decent food. Cupcake for dessert. The buffet was taken done shortly after everyone was through the line. Servers were very attentive with water and tea refills. Clean up of tables was quick. The boat went a little bit North and turned to go South. Not much information about the river other than the barges that we passed.

I am only rating the sight seeing cruise on the riverboat - not the dinner cruise, which reviewers seem to have enjoyed. The one hour sight seeing cruise was fine, but you really didn't see anything you can't see pretty well from shore. The narration was entertaining, and it was a beautiful day. If you really want to say you've been on a riverboat, go for it, or maybe book the dinner cruise if it's available. Since it's a 2 hour cruise, you'll see more and get dinner besides.

Didn't really know what to expect, especially since the cost of the excursion was so reasonable. But we were treated to a great dinner, awesome River views, and over 2 hours with a great little jazz ensemble. Had a great time and will return with friends.

My wife and I did the dinner cruise on Aug. 21 and could not have had a better time! The weather was perfect, the scenery going up and down the river was beautiful, the captain's historic info and comments were interesting and fun, the crew, waiters, waitresses and the bartenders were all friendly and helpful. The dinner and drinks were great! We also really enjoyed the jazz band. Those guys are a very talented group of musicians! And to top it all off, we were treated to a gorgeous sunset to be followed by the rise of a beautiful, full, harvest moon! This riverboat cruise was everything we hoped it would be, and I highly recommend going! The Mark Twain and her crew get "10's" from us from start to finish!
