We caught one of the last shows of the season and were very glad that we did. Richard Garey provides a captivating 1-hour conversation using Mark Twain's own stories and words. Before the shows, he mingles with the audience both in and out of character....More

We were very fortunate to visit the performance when the audience was very small I don't know if this normally happens if the audience is larger, but we had the opportunity to carry on conversations with "Mark Twain." He was so knowledgeable about history, and...More

Richard Garey delivers a captivating 1-hour conversation using Mark Twain's own stories and words. The theater is small, intimate, and comfortable. Get there a bit early for complimentary coffee, tea, and cookies. Mr. Garey visits with audience members before and after the performance.

Richard Garey does a great job of portraying Mark Twain. He does his research and knows his topic well. The topic he presented at our show was more dramatic and I would have preferred more humor but he still puts on a great performance. I...More

Richard Garey is so good that after the first greeting, you forget he isn't Mark Twain. He greets everyone before and after the performance, always in character. During the performance, it is like you are sitting at the feet of a favorite uncle listening to...More

We got lucky. The season for Richard Garey's performance as Mark Twain ended two days after we saw him (late October). He was magnificent as Twain -- after a few minutes you were ready to believe that he was Twain. It was a great show.
