Rockcliffe Mansion is an amazing Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred SF, Thirty room, Grand Residence built to overlook the Mighty Mississippi between 1898 and 1900 by Lumber Baron John J Cruikshank, Jr. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Most of the original antique furnishings and fixtures are preserved. The Mansion is filled with rich Mahogany, Oak and Walnut appointments, magnificent Palladian windows and the finest interior decorations from Europe and America. Guided Tours are available daily. Absolutely loved this mansion and its history! Juan was very knowledgeable about the mansion and the time frame that it was built. He was very personable and made the history intriguing and fun! Highly recommend anyone who visits Hannibal to take time for this tour.

The enchanting old mansion is a must for anyone visiting the Hannibal area. Not only is the history riveting, the home was built with modern and even innovative luxuries.

This house is is amazing . We enjoyed hearing about it's history and the renovations that are ongoing. Completely furnished. You can visit all 3 floors. Becky was a wonderful guide.
