This home has some of the oldest woodwork and furniture that I have seen in years this home was supposed to be torn down in 1967. If you are into history don't miss this place. Beck did a great job on our tour

If you like old houses. If you like really big old houses. You have got to stay at this place! One of the best-preserved 1900 Mansions I've ever seen. And you get to stay there! Well worth the money and the hospitality is even better. Great breakfast! Something you have to see if you are in this area. Or at... More

I can only echo what other glowing reviews have said. The house is fabulous and the history of it and the family/possessions were very well presented by our guide Warren. We had joined the tour about 5 min. after it started, as did another couple. He very kindly offered to start the tour over from the beginning after the tour... More

We loved this old house and were impressed with the information that Becky was able to share with us. We were amazed at the features of the home that we thought were only available in more modern homes. We wish the best of luck with the continued restoration of this mansion.

Absolutely the best attraction in Hannibal. This fabulous mansion with truly authentic original finishings and artifacts is a marvelous example of the era when those with money chose the very best to adorn their homes. Tiffany art glass and light fixtures, gold enhanced wall coverings, meticulously carved mahogany, state-of-the-art (for turn-of-the-century) technology in heating, plumbing, and electricity. The owners provide... More

This house is truly amazing. Most of the original furnishings are still in the house. Really takes you back to the turn of the century living. Must see if in the area.

The owners and managers, Warren and Juan, are gracious hosts and try very hard to make sure you are pleased. (We were very lucky to be invited to a barbecue that our hosts were having for some of their friends.). The breakfast repast they provide is to die for. The location towers above Hannibal with views over the town, and... More

We overheard a group say what a gem this was and we were looking to go for a walk. We couldn't believe what was inside this museum. Didn't look like much on the outside, but what this place had inside was hard to fathom. The story behind it was hard to believe. I would go and see it again upon... More
