Decided to rent bikes and do the Katy trail and wine tastings around defiance. Great wine tasting experience at the yellow farmhouse. Very knowledgable about their wines, locally grown and produced wine! Two thumbs up!

We went early but there is limited parking. They had signs that showed where additional parking was and it was at least a 1/4 mile from the winery in a field. We did not go.

We went to several wineries today and the others were crowded and skimpy on their wine tasting samples. But here, they gave us free samples if we bought a bottle, and their samples were generous. The ladies running the place were so fun and made our time their memorable. We will go back. I can't figure out why they were... More

We heard about this winery from a friend, been by here numerous times but never stopped. We decided to try this small winery and I'm glad we did! Free wine tastings but not a large selections of wines. There was only one dry white that I would drink, but they provided real wine glasses and ice bucket without an additional... More

The wines were excellent and the staff was so nice and friendly. Opened their doors 15 minutes early for us (4 couples) to "come on in". Music on the patio and pizza cooked in a mobile stone oven was yummy. We would go back here again and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

Never really noticed this winery sitting off to the side, so we decided to stop in and give it a go. Small parking lot at the bottom was full, so we had to park at the top of the hill in their over flow lot behind a church. Walk down to the winery was a bit treacherous, as recent rains... More

Stopped here while riding Katy Trail. They do not open until noon so grab something to eat at the outdoor patio across the street if you get there earlier. We liked the Norton and the Reserve. We also bought some cheese to go very good .

The staff, especially the owner, Dale, are very, very personable. We enjoyed the conversation a lot. The wine itself is only "so-so". If you're looking to try some good Missouri wines, opt for Mount Pleasant or Bommarito, if your time/resources are limited.

We were with a group of six the first time we stopped here and liked it so much we went back as a couple. The tasting room is cozy and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the different selections. They give very generous pours and do not make you feel rushed at all. They have a few... More
