On a beautiful September afternoon, we went to Curemonte, a typical village to visit according to the guides.
You must first park well away from the access to the village center, as good citizens we pay the 3€ parking fee. There were 3 cars but 4 camper vans which were squatting.........
We regretted our stop, there were no 5 tourists walking around, everything was closed, a beautiful church obviously not open in the middle of the afternoon, no life and as a gift dog droppings....
We were frankly disappointed with our stopover, we are not against paying for parking provided that it is justified.
The only disappointment of all our visits to this beautiful region.

A desert! Nice facades it is true, beautiful stones, beautiful castle in the center, inaccessible. And nothing else, 3 inhabitants crossed, a closed shop... on a Saturday afternoon in August! Even a cemetery is more alive!
No problem that the inhabitants want calm, charge parking through the deliberations of the Mayor.
But do not ask to be one of the most beautiful villages in France if you want peace. A village is beautiful when it is alive. There is life in Turenne, a real life, life in Collonges, certainly artificial.
Curemonte is not worth a visit!

contrary to what is said in certain comments, I find it logical that we participate in the creation of parking which prevents cars from wandering around the village and parking anywhere
moreover the village is just magnificent so giving a bad rating because the gogues pay is just ridiculous
I'm probably used to everything being free on the internet!!
