Great Beers and Service
Jun 2019
Last stop of our "beer trail" for the day. Located in a small strip mall wlth adequate parking (unless it's dinner time on a Saturday due to 2 restaruants also in the stip mall). Nice outside patio outfront w/ tables and umbrellas. The inside has a nice bar and regular and high top tables. Walls are covered in cool beer memorobelia. The few TV's are on different channels showing sports or something similar. Their beer selections are uniquie and includes their offierings and a large selection guest taps and even larger selection of unique beers in bottles/cans. However, if it isn't a craft beer they don't carry it so no Coors, A/B, etc. Yay! They offer 3 oz, 6 oz, 16 oz pours and crowlers (sealed 32 oz cans to go of your fav) and prices are competitive. They also have a few unique spirits (but no mixed drinks). No food is served but they have menus available to order for delivery or pick up and you can bring your own food in. Bartender was very knowledgeable of theirs and the guest taps and also spirits and he was a great & friendly conversationist. We each tried about 5-6 of their 3 oz pours. My fav was their vanilla cream ale. I'm not normally a cream ale person but this was light, creamy and heavy on vanilla nose and taste. My friend loved their Girl Scout cookie stout. If you are into Thin Mints you will love this one. My only complaint is there is just 1 shared bathroom for the entire establishment, I had to wait in line. This casual, laid back place should be on everyone's agenda for a craft beer.

Local brewery with in house beers

This place has lots of seating and over 20 taps from all over the country and some from St Louis. They had five of their own available. I had the Ryanes Red Ale. The conversation at the bar was great fun. The bartender was down to earth.

Always a good selection of beer

Exit 6 is a great place for a vast selection of craft beers from around the country. They also brew their own, which I am not fond of, but the rotation is constantly updated. From around 20 taps and various bottles and cans you can find one or more that you like

They do offer crowlers and growler fills to-go. Some of those can be pricy though. No food served but you are more than welcome to bring in your own or have food delivered.

Plenty of TVs to watch Blues, Cards, etc. Happy to have Exit 6 in the neighborhood.

Best craft beer selection around
Aug 2017 • Friends
Exit 6 Brewery has 5-6 of their own brews, several regulars with 2-3 always changing and all of which are good, plus another 20 or so craft beer taps from near and far that is always changing and is one of the best beer lineups in the whole area! Large select bottled beer also available. You won't find any mainstream big beers here, only craft beer. Always new and great things to try! No food served but you are welcome to bring in or order your own in! Opens at 4:00 pm daily. Laid back atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I are new to the area and were looking for a place to eat and drink. When the bartender told us what they do (serve an amazing selection of craft beer) and don't do (serve food, ice, or mixers), we thought it was cool and stayed for a drink! The bartender was super nice and helpful in navigating our beer choices and even suggested some food places for us to try! The bar has a laid back and mellow atmosphere and really neat decor. All the beers are listed on a running list up on a huge flat screen with all the info you need to know. He was also great in explaining what IBU was and the upcoming beer fests they're taking part in. We will definitely be back!

There are plenty of unique beer choices. The atmosphere is very casual. Non-smoking which is always a plus. They don't serve food, but feel free to bring your own!

Best Beer in Town, Bring your Own Food
Mar 2015 • Business
I love this place and go there every time I’m in town. Quite, nice time with friends and family. Bring in whatever food you want to eat and enjoy their great selection of beers. I really like you can bring in your own food because everyone gets what they want. Their locally brewed Red is one of my favorite red beers. Always great with smoked wings. Don’t miss this place for a relaxing time and the best beer in town.
