An island of well tended green space where locals enjoy concerts, weddings, and just family or personal time. Local plantings of trees, native plants, and varietals delight in all seasons. Kudos to local insurance company Shelter for providing this site for our enjoyment.

Depending on whether severe weather conditions come early, the area is always very nice for a pleasant stroll. Most flowering plants will not be blooming but there are some evergreen areas. Perhaps this would not be a good "drive out of your way" destination. But if you are in the area you might find it pleasant. If you are interested in seeing plants you might consider the St. Louis Botanical Gardens which has many indoor displays.
