Went to the Dan + Shay concert and reserved/paid for a table (thru the internet site) on the side balconies. Two balconies, 3 tables each with 4 chairs per table. Names will be placed on table and you get your own waitress to bring drinks. Nice to be above the floor if you can't stand for extended times. Nice place for live acts. Looking forward to future dates of artists we like. Great time.

Went to a concert at the Blue Note on May 2nd. Sold out show for Home Free, a country vocal band. They won a season of NBC's the Sing Off. The acoustics in the Blue Note have always been great (according to husband who saw many shows here in his college days), but this venue really takes the bass to a whole new level. The feel of the bass from an all vocal group was floor-shaking but the sound as a whole was not overly loud and well balanced.Between our seats up in the balcony and when I walked down to the main floor mid-show, the sound stayed very even. The balcony has theatre-style seats full-time, but for this show folding chairs were brought in on the main floor, though for other events could be left open for dancing/mosh. New owners of this venue are working hard to clean and upgrade it. Very nice venue, will gladly come back.

Great venue for live music! The staff is always friendly and very helpful. There is a balcony for larger crowds. They will leave it closed off if they notice there isn't a large crowd which makes seating minimal.

Have been going to the Blue Note for years to see live music. The building is old and neat but somewhat poorly kept. Bathrooms were clean. It certainly has a college town bar feel. There is drinks but no food. Minimal seating. Mostly standing room. Our waitress was terrific. We will continue to return for great music.

This is best place to experience a performance. It's intimate yet extravagant. The architecture is stunning and there's not a bad seat in the house. The character and restoration of building itself becomes a part of the performance and enhances the experience like no arena ever could. Every event is better at the Blue Note!

The Blue Note is not as big as a huge outdoor atmosphere. It is standing room only in the bottom in front of the stage and theater style seating on the second floor. Plus there are some tables near the bar. They have decently priced beer. I have so much more fun at shows here than at a larger place. You get to be SO close to the band and there is SO much energy down in front of the stage! Obviously, it is very loud so if you are sensitive (or just want to protect your hearing) take ear plugs. People might bump into you or spill beer on you- but to me that is part of the fun!

Went to see a concert and the place is nice. The small venue is nice but with a loud band the noise is overwhelming. We would come back if the right band was there.

Went to Blue Note for Street Concert. The building itself is ran down and in need of repairs. I don’t think I would ever go back. The inside of the building wasn’t even kept clean. Staff was average and unable to keep up with the drink demands of such a large crowd.

We saw a great show last night. The venue is very vintage and has a cool vibe. While there is standing room downstairs, we chose to go up to the balcony area. There were movie theater style seats with a second full bar. Great view of the stage! The bathroom line was long, but the waitstaff was prompt and the drinks were on point.
