Growing up with this theatre is wonderful. As a child through high school it was a movie theater and then before that built for Vaudeville so the inside of the theater reflects that history. Only down side for me is I am a person of...More

The Missouri Theatre, built in the 1920s, is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a gorgeous restoration. The detailed panels are ornate baroque, and the ceiling showcases a huge Italian crystal chandelier. The acoustics are excellent everywhere, with the best seats are...More

Beautifully restored theatre with good acoustics. Not really a bad seat in the house. Saw mighty Merle there a few months before he passed and it was outstanding

If you think you might like the show or concert, you'll love the Theater. Lectures, Missouri Symphony, folk and contemporary music, even kid's musical shows have been enhanced by being presented in this venue. Definitely a winner.

This place was designed and built to show movies. It may be usable for live events too, but the primary function is exhibiting movies. There should be more movies here, especially classics.

This theater is one of the best in the Midwest, a must see. Was there during the True False film festival and always enjoy seeing the absolute spectacular space. We always sit in the balcony.
