This was quite the loveliest way to discover Mijas and our multilingual guide Rudi lives in the town so was extremely knowledgeable, telling us, in fluent perfect English, all the best places to eat and drink, and the most interesting places to visit. He clearly loves his town and was keen to make sure visitors to Mijas also fall in love with the place. €35 for an hour's tour for 5 people.

Our trip is indeed perfect to start your visit of Mijas, because in just 35 minutes you will get to know all landmarks, museums and secret corners of our pretty white village which are worthwhile visiting on foot afterwards. We really enjoyed our excursion with Tuk Tuk in Mijas. The two sisters who acted as both driver and guide were lovely girls who had a lot of local information, more detailed than your normal tour guide. We wish them every success in this venture.

Dear Mia,
we're really glad that you an your family enjoyed the tour with us. Like you say our panoramic tour is perfect for older persons or disabled people, because it gives them the opportunity to see all the nice places of the village, which they otherwise would not be be able to visit, because of all the stairs and steep streets in the historical center of Mijas.
Best regards from the Tuk Tuk Team

We had selected and booked the full tour in advance and arrived a few minutes early, the tour guide arrived within a minute with a nice quite and eco friendly, battery powered Tuk Tuk. She provided us with a blanket to keep our legs warm (as it was quite a fresh morning) and we set off. the tour lasted approx. 45 mins during which time we were guided through the sites of Mijas town, the quietness of the drive helped to hear the native guide who spoke perfect English informed us about the various sites we were seeing, we stopped at a couple of places along the route for us to take photos. All in all, a lovely way to see the town and we thought good value for money.

Dear Badgeress,
thank you very much for taking the time to review the tour you did with us. It is nice to hear, that you consider it a lovely way to see the town and good value for money.
Mijas Pueblo is a mountain village at an altitude of 450m above sea level, so certainly early in the morning it can be chilly, that's why we still have the blankets on board :-)

It was hot and balmy day... too hot to walk about to see the town. The clean look of the blue and white TukTuk with its prety driver caught my attention and we decided on the 45 minute tour over just hanging out in the bar! Good decision! We saw an insider's view of Mijas with some spectacular views, stops in the parks and at points of scenic interest. Magdalena was delightful and full of fun facts and anecdotes. When the tour finished we asked for a recommendation for lunch and she even dropped us off at the door of a really cool place where the rest of the afternoon just melted blissfully away! We love Mijas ! We love TukTuk! We love Magdalena!

Dear Claudio,
thank you very much for rating the panoramic tour with me on TripAdvisor. I'm glad to hear, that you loved it. Many tourists indeed only hang around in the more touristical part of the village with the bars and souvenir shops and it is really a pitty to see so many people leave without having seen the most beautiful parts of the village.
As you correctly say our 45 minutes tour is an excellent opportunity to get an insider view as it will take you to all the points of interest and the most spectacular viewpoints of the village.
Once again, thank you very much for your recommendation. I hope to see you again in Mijas in the future.
Best regards from your driver and guide Magdalena

We decided to use a tuk tuk to see what beautiful Mijas had to offer and we were not disappointed
We opted for a 35 minute tour and this took us all around the area. The tour guide was really knowledgeable and a fantastic driver of the tuk tuk.
We would highly recommend the tour to anyone looking to get to know this part of Mijas better. The sites/views that this tours offers is amazing.

Loved this quirky ride and it was a great way to get our bearings around Mijas without doing too much walking in the heat.
Children are free so it's good value too.
We also got a discount for the miniature museum.

Dear Joanie,
thank you so much for reviewing our service on Tripadvisor. We're glad to hear, that you loved the ride and had great fun on board. Included in the price of our tour is a discount in the minature museum, the Centre of Modern Art (CAC) with the second most important pottery collection of Pablo Picasso in the world and also in the bullring. Kids are not always free, it depends on their age, the number of people traveling etc. Because of this there's no fixed rule about special prices for children, but we always do our best to make our tour as attractive as possible for families of all kinds as we know, that holidays during the high season are already expensive enough. Best regards from the Tuk Tuk team

I would thoroughly recommend the tour to see the sights. The staff were so friendly and knowledgable and answered all of our questions. They took us to places where the views were amazing, perhaps that you might not see if you were exploring yourself.

Dear KS87,
thank you for your feedback about our panoramic Tuk Tuk tour around Mijas. Many of the nicest places we see during the tour are rarely visited by tourists, because they are just to far out of the center to walk. Even though Mijas is a relatively small mountain village our most popular tour of 35 minutes takes about 8 kilometers to complete. That's definately to much for most people during the hot summer months :-) Best regards from the Tuk Tuk team in Mijas

My friend and I took the full tour with Natalie and were not disappointed. What a charming guide who having been born in Mijas had first hand local knowledge and gave us a trip to remember.Natalie also gave us excellent recommendations for Tapas and breakfast restaurants which both turned out to be first class.
The Tuk Tuk was very comfortable and not too hot in the sun.
Well worth the money, give it a go.
Thank you Natalie.

The ladies from the company are very helpful - I suggest you go see them. Natalie was lovely. The tuc tuc does not go very fast at all and was very safe. But you should make your own decision once you’ve spoken to the driver and seen them.

How to get thete from benalmadina
tuktukspain
Mijas Pueblo, Spain11 contributions
If you want to come in public transport the bus from Torremolinos (M-121) has got several stops in Benalmadena (costa and pueblo). The bus from Malaga to Mijas (M-112) also has a stop there.
Another alternative would be to take the train from Arroyo de la Miel to Fuengirola and the bus from Fuengirola to Mijas (M-122).
If you come by car it is recommendable to arrive before 11:00 hrs, otherwise you will find the public car park complete. Alternatively you can come after 15:00 hrs when there is usually no problem to get in the car park.
And last but not least you can also take a taxi ofcourse. Just tell the taxi driver to drop you off at the miniature museum, which is just in front of our Tuk Tuk Stop.

Is the tour €14.50 per tuk tuk or per person.
tuktukspain
Mijas Pueblo, Spain11 contributions
The prices of our tours are per person and are available on our website: just google for tuktukspain Mijas :-)
But to give you a guideline for the most popular tour of 35 minutes the TOTAL price ranges between 24€ for a couple (12€ p.p.) to 33€ for 6 persons (5,50 p.p.).

you can take your 2 year old . probably they will leave the push chair at the starting point where you will be coming back to be dropped off. as i can remember it can seat 6 people but no space for pushchairs.

Where abouts are you? And what can I do with my sons pram whilst we go on the tour?
tuktukspain
Mijas Pueblo, Spain11 contributions
Our stop is next to the miniature museum in the Avda. del Compas in Mijas Pueblo. We're just two minutes away from the bust stop or the public car park.
We will store the pram savely in the museum whilst you're on the tour.

Beste MargueritaDaisy,
Vriendelijke groeten.

If I book on line how do I know what time we will be due to go - the booking form only asks for the date.
Thanks

Mijas Pueblo, Spain11 contributions
After selecting the tour you would like to book, the form always asks for the date, the time and the number of persons. Just to avoid misunderstanding, our tours can be booked online, but only for starting times between 09:00 and 10:30 hrs.
From 11:00 hrs onwards it is a 'first come first served' service. As we have a limited number of vehicles and on average our tours last 35-40 minutes waiting times can occur during the busy hours (11:00 - 16:00 hrs) if you do not prebook.
We allow a grace period of 5 minutes for prebooked tours, if the customer does not show up within that time frame we may give priority to other people waiting.
I hope this informations clears up any doubts about our service.
