Inviting family park with wonderful live butterfly conservatory. More than 1500 free-flying butterflies in a lush indoor garden walk-through environment. Educational activities for all ages. The park area also includes a large, beautiful indoor carousel and an historic walk through early village life (buildings, etc.).

The butterfly house was absolutely amazing! The butterflies really love the shiny lenses of sunglasses and were landing on my husbands head often! The girls had a great time make sand art in a butterfly casing.

No I do not believe you can bring food in but you can easily walk back to your car and have a picnic in the playground next to the museum.
