Stopped at Precious Moments as part of our Route 66 road trip. Admission is free, although there are donation boxes scattered throughout the property. It was about what I expected. Very serene and well manicured grounds reminded me of old Cypress Gardens in Florida. Lots...More

Beautiful grounds. It is worth a trip to see the chapel. It is truly amazing. Such a talented man, and such an imagination! I am very sorry to see that it is not the tourist destination that it was in it's glory days. The last...More

Lovely grounds. We were the first visitors on a rainy morning. A lot of history to appreciate if you take the time. Gift shop is well stocked. Will return to see museum when in season.

I suspect for the true believers of all things Precious Moments this would be a destination. For me - not so much. My bride saw the signs on the highway, and we were staying close by for a couple of nights, so we stopped by....More

Lots of nostalgia and beauty. Free to stop and tour. Nice stop during our trip and enjoyed seeing all the beautiful paintings and memorials. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Website says hours for Chapel in June are 9:00 to 5:00. Best to check Website for updates and other facilities

There was a restaurant inside the complex with a limited menu (think burgers) and hours. Unsure of the hours of operation on the chapels.

Precious Moments Park? (6 Replies)
We were considering a stop-over at the Precious Moments Park in Carthage on our way down to Branson this June. and while its not exactly in Branson I was wondering if anyone has headed there? If we do stop over there it will be slightly out of our way. Overall it'll be about 2 hours additional. So we're trying to figure out if turning that 14 hour car ride into a 16 hour one is worth it or not.

I think it would be well worth your time to stop. It is very beautiful and the grounds are immaculate. It is very peaceful and relaxing to stroll the grounds. They have several area's to stop in and look a the gorgeous paintings and murals. The chapel is breath taking. It is kinda out in the country.
