The river front wall mural telling the history of Missouri is one of the most beautiful if not the most beautiful murals ever. There aren't enough words to describe it. The art work is wonderful , the historical content good, and is just so appeals to all.

Nice view of the river, a little history lesson, good photo ops, nice view of the new bridge. The day we were there, the weather was very nice, and there were some workers there that gave us a very short talk about the flood in 1993. Good view of the flood wall.

It's free. Also, plenty of parking. Great views of the river. Nice narrative notes in the park. Room for a nice stroll in the shade.

Riverfront Bridge Park is located next to the River Campus of Southeast Missouri State University. The view of the new bridge and river is just awesome! Clean little park with nice walking paths and plenty of shade. Enjoy!

Don't miss this stop. You can take great photos of the Mighty Mississippi and then walk around on the adjacent River Campus of Southeast Missouri State University for even more photos, a chance to just sit and watch the river flow by, and go ahead and pack a picnic for the grounds. It's all FREE!

Maybe if you have a strange fascination for the Mississippi River, you'll love this place. It's pretty (for what it is) and the park has nice trees and a good view of the river, but, honestly, it's not like the river is much to look at in and of itself.
