Enjoyed the racing or what we managed to see of it. Ffos las really need to look at the amount and quality of staff on the bars. Queued an hour to get a drink. Everyone was complaining. Staff were on a go slow and obviously could not cope with the number of customers. More staff and more training needed. Some of them didn't have a clue ...including a supervisor. Queues for toilets were ridiculous too. Don't hold these large events if the facilities can't cope with the number of people.

Couldn't back a winner - but had a great day...
Visited during the jubilee weekend for Race evening and Kaiser Chiefs concert. This was my first visit to a race track for many years and I thoroughly enjoyed it, albeit I didn't manage to back a winner..... We booked 3 course dinner in the Brides restaurant and had a table throughout the visit. The meal was very good, although the service was lacking and something that should be addressed. The racing was exciting, easy to bet & lose money - but that's half the fun. Other visitors were friendly. The concert was superb and everyone young and old seemed to enjoy themselves. We will be back.

    Ladies day
Unfortunately the weather was against us. There is very little shelter from the elements and had to leave early cold and wet. Other than the hospitality marquees the food on offer consists of chips and burger vans. Struggled to find tea and coffee. £2.50 for a paper cup of. Also for soft drinks. Only 2 outlets on site. Although to be fair the chips were lush. £3 for small portion
Hi Samantha Thank you for your feedback on the food and drink on site, this will be passed on to the relevant departments for continued improvement. We hope to see you back at Ffos Las soon Kind Regards

Last visited here in 2019 and the lines to get to the loo or food and drink were at least 20 mins plus. No change in all that time still awful long lines of people everywhere. Toilets not the cleanest and staff clueless about drinks. There was a bigger head on my larger than a 99 ice cream.

One thing that was visible was also drug use and the sale of drugs in the grounds. Which was farcical as we were searched for alcohol and had it confiscated but white powder gets in no problem. Lots of posh younger race goers off their faces with families and children having to put up with their antics and anti social behaviour.

We visited on Easter weekend family weekend racing day. And we all enjoyed! Plenty of fair rides and bouncy castles for kids. And they were all free. Tickets cost us just under £40 entry fee for my partner and me. Kids go are free! There was also Easter egg hunt organised for little ones. Magic show and face painting. Plenty of bars and food stalls around site too. I would recommend you taking fold up camping chair or maybe picnic blanket just incase there’s no outside seating available. Because they are limited. But it didn’t bother us. Views were great watching horses go around track

Fantastic day yesterday at Ffos Las. Family of 3 generations from age 20 to 70 and everyone loved the day. We went as had seen the event advertised on Facebook as University of Wales Trinity Saint David's manage the event. First time most of the party had attended Ffos Las and certainly won't be the last. We opted for the package with a meal in Bridles. Again this was outstanding. Food was good, service excellent, nothing was too much for the staff and students. It was the wonderful balance of professional and friendly which made you feel relaxed as well as feeling like a VIP.

Attended Ffos Las race day yesterday for a birthday celebration, the races were great & betting was a great bit of fun however there was only one very over-priced and very poor trailer which served dry, cold, pre-cooked burgers, chicken goujons & the worst chips ever, along with the cheapest grossest tomato sauce and salt that was so damp it came out in soggy clumps!! The alcohol served at the bar was no better, overpriced and cheap substitutes …. Tasted like medicine!! I had one drink all day as I refused to pay over the odds for a poor quality and frankly vile drink. I wasn’t the only one to feel that way in our party of 40 people. Come on Ffos Las provide quality food and drink and people will spend more!! We have experienced Chester & Ascot and whilst I wasn’t expecting that level I was expecting something edible & drinkable. I for one won’t rush back & that is such a terrific shame as the facility here in West Wales is great and could be so much more. Completely lacks any finesse at all. Wish we had stopped at Mcdonalds on the way & I never wish for a McDonalds!!!

Had a runner here - I dont know where to start. Horrendous place to get to, horrendous O&T facilities, horrendous aesthetic - it rather looks like how you might build a racetrack were you asked to do it as quickly, inexpensively and least likely to leave any lasting positive impression on someone as possible. In all fairness the track itself isn't that bad, and I can quite understand how locals like it given the lack of opportunity for other leisure opportunities in the area, however if you are a seasoned racegoer, I cant recommend you visit for any reason whatsoever. I was at least blessed with free plastic wrapped sandwiches and subsidised bottom shelf alcohol, the complaints from outside about price, service and quality for on track food were quite apparent as I enjoyed my walk to the course - further reinforced by the unfinished victuals being tossed in the bins. I shall not be returning in a hurry.

We had a great day in the Easter sunshine. Harrry Potter characters were walking around having photos with little kids. Fairground rides were free and popular. The food outlets offered a wide choice of good quality takeaways. The Firepit was my favourite esp the Chiliwurst with onions and child sauce. Also had the roast pork and apple sauce and stuffing roll, excellent. Family enjoyed burgers and traditional sausage dogs. Beers in Grandstand bar were usual price for these venues and w:de variety of drinks available. Staff were friendly and polite throughout the venue and day. We were there from 11:30 to 16:30 and had a great time. There was also an Eeaster egg hunt for the kids. The venue provided a full and wide range of excellent entertainment throughout the day with something for everyone

Attended ladies day for the first time here and sad to say it will be my last. When we arrived there was a large queue snaking around the car park. So it took a little while to get into the venue. Once we were in my partner went to place a bet whilst I went to the bar. It took 50 minutes for me to get served. Unfortunately this was a theme that continued for the rest of the day. The wait for the toilets was the same a minimum of half hour wait. Food again 45 minute wait. If you want to spend the majority of your day standing in queues this is the place for you.
I understand they are a business and they need a good profit, and the more people creates a good atmosphere but they have to have the facilities to cope with the volume of people they are letting through the door.
It's a great venue but they need to address the above issues as the many people I spoke to on the day felt the same way and wernt impressed.

bridles restaurant hospitality(should not be called hospitality) no hot food available as the cooker exploded the night before so, we all had ham salad, chicken salad or salmon salad, which was just awful.everyone in the restaurant embarassed.a bottle of wine per booking given out as some sort of gesture. no air con as that dont work either,so we all cooked alive.for £90 per head there are better things to do and see....no more visits there

Went to Ffos Las with a group of friends to celebrate a 40th birthday and although we enjoyed the day, lots of things about the racecourse was disappointing. The food choice was poor, and being a vegetarian myself, it was even worse for me. It was chips that's it really although I was offered mushy peas and a bread roll! No thanks, not what I imagined I'd be eating there on a nice day out. The bar queue was crazy so we didn't bother drinking in the afternoon as would have missed he races. There was nowhere to sit so we had to either stand or sit on a small step. Doubt will be bothering to go back there again.

a great day out for us ladies to get dressed up and have a fun day 10/10
we booked a table in one of the marquees which included a meal
the bar and waitresses and are really nice and helpful 10/10

the food is not all that and at £50 per head for a 3 course meal in my view was quite expensive
we had foreign bodies in our food !!!!! which was sorted immediately
plus the taste of the food was quite bland,
which is why i rate the food 3/10
