    Revisiting Karen Carpenters legacy
It was a wonderful tribute to one of the greatest voices we lost way too young! When you listen to Diana Lynn performing, it's as if you are actually listening to the real Karen Carpenter! Karen's gone, but her voice and spirit live on in the form of Diana Lynn!

If you like the Carpenters this show is for you!
This is the fourth time we have seen Diana’s show over the last 7 years. It is one of reasons we come to Branson. She is a remarkable entertainer surrounded by top quality musicians. If you like the Carpenter’s music you will love this show.

    Time and money well spent
Diana Lynn has a beautiful voice. The music brought back many memories. A wonderful afternoon escape to my youth. Highly recommended. I was surprised that she didn't do their intermission song, and Richard's cute "Piano Picker"

    Great singing, great band.
Went back to the theatre to see this show after the Neil Diamond treat. A bit of a family affair, band is awesome and brought you right back to the days of the Carpenters. Don't miss this one, off the charts great singing and storytelling. Loved it.

    Carpenters once more
This is an excellent show. Diana has a beautiful voice and it is easy to think she is Karen Carpenter. She is very personable and greets the guests in the audience. There is even a surprise guest - Neil Diamond! (Her husband does a Neil Diamond show as well). It is a great way to step back in time to the 70s. I highly recommend going to this show.

A fun show of our favorite songs!
My husband and I enjoyed the performance of the live band and solo performer especially because the Carpenters were from when we were in our 20s. Considering Karen Carpenter had a pitch perfect, flawless voice, the lady imitating her did a good job. I was expecting someone younger since Karen Carpenter died at 32, so that was a little off putting at first. There was a nice mixture of the Carpenter's hit songs and interesting historical facts about their lives. The theater itself was dated but the sound was good. It was also fun to get a cameo visit from Johnny Cash and Neil diamond! Overall, a fun time hearing some of our favorite songs!

    Interesting and Informative Family Entainment
if you are a Carpenters fan or just familiar with their music, this show will not disappoint. The lady who portrayed Karen Carpenter was amazing. Her voice, moves, and appearance were just like the real Karen. The band was exquisite. They could play in any professional setting. The man who played Richard Carpenter sang a song that brought tears to your eyes. We were thoroughly impressed with their talent.

Was prepared to love this show after reading other reviews. However, after the first few bars it was obvious the band was competing with their headliner for the stage and audience attention. Each time she raised the volume of her voice, they got louder, to the point it was making her cough. Of course this made it impossible for her to replicate the easy-laid back voice that Karen C. was known for. At the end when she introduced each member of the band, she announced they had won the "Tribute Band of the Year" for 2023, so that explained what was going on. Now that they have the award in hand, I sincerely hope they will tone it down and allow her to be the star and entertainer she obviously is. She is a dead ringer for Karen and have no doubt she could sound like her too if the band will permit. Note: the lead keyboardist, the lead guitar and the flute were not tuned together that night.

Diana Lynn has an amazing voice. That alone would make her show memorable but when she sings the Carpenter songs it’s like “Yesterday Once More”. Terrific performance, enlightening tribute to the life of Karen Carpenter and her energy infectious. Highly recommended. Also, kudos to the keyboard artist and vocalist, the Minister and comic Debi (with one I).

Too bad that I couldn't make out most of what Diana Lynn was singing! Her background music was so loud that if I didn't already know the words to the song, I would have been lost!
Her piano player was engaging and entertaining but didn't know if he was adding to the background music or just helping her hear her part above the noise of the blasting out. She even asked for the music to be turned up at the beginning of her performance! Maybe the speakers weren't placed so she could hear it.
The side screens showed very hazy pictures at times. Surely, this could be updated so that the audience could enjoy them rather than thinking that they needed new glasses!

This tribute show to Karen Carpenter, and her brother, Richard, brings the 1970’s pop duo alive again! Diana Lynn perfectly embodies Karen in voice and mannerisms. The full sound of their 8 piece orchestra with backup singers sets the tone for the romantic fun harmonies of this musical era. Don’t miss this great Branson show!

I SAW Karen Carpenter! I know it was Diana Lynn..but I saw Karen Carpenter!

Branson was really slow this week and I found a small mention on one of the many websites. (This is at the God & County theatre not the one listed above).

I’m am generally not a big fan of tribute shows. However this one pays attention to detail while honoring the fantastic work of KC! What a find! Do not miss this show!

What a wonderful experience! I felt like I was front row in a Karen Carpenter show!
Diana sounded just like Karen. She also had a very warm and caring personality. It was fun when her husband - Branson's Neil Diamond - visited and sang a song! Amazing Carpenter experience in a smaller theater!

Diana was a true reincarnation of Karen Carpenter. Her show was a highlight of our trip to Branson, along with her husband's great performance as a Neil Diamond tribute (he even made an appearance on Diane's stage).
She is very personable and shares her own very interesting story with her audience.
Costumes were great as well as the backup band and her "Richard."
I would see the show again!

Dianna Lynn does a superb job BUT the audio ranges from very bad to acceptable. I don't know if it is the equipment that is poor or if the audio engineer just doesn't know how to mix. But at times it was almost unbearable, and then at other times it was perhaps just not quite okay. Also the video was seriously sub-par. I would give it a 5 star except for the audio, visual problems which almost make me want to rate it a 3 star. They need to either invest in better equipment or hire a new engineer or perhaps both.

Loved this show! Diane captures the richness of Karen Carpenters beautiful alto voice. I felt like I was really listening to Karen.
Dont miss this show. FYI it is no longer at the Owen Theatre. It is at the same theater where her husband does his Neil Diamond show, sorry cant remember the name.
Excellent tribute to the late, great Karen Carpenter.

I just finished watching the show at the Blue gate theater in Shipshewana. It was amazing. Diana Lynn's voice is spot on for Karen Carpenter. The costume changes and added touches of humor along with the reminiscent videos made the show come together well and definitely of value worth seeing!!!!!
