Our kids were 6 and 9 we took them on the VIP yeti tour and it was so worth it. For 25 a piece you get to feed animals in the zoo, see Santa, drive through lights, see another building full or animals, and receive hot coco and popcorn. This is reasonably priced and fun.

Love the zoo and the Christmas zoo drive through lights. The zoo has expanded since the last time I was there and we had a great day walking through it and then driving though it last month. Saw the lights last night and it was fun especially seeing the animals in the background.

From the ticket booth throughout the three hour visit we had a very enjoyable time.
Was very nice to see Brucelee and Deliah. Brucelee is a Tiger and Deligh is a Lion.
Both were active and we felt they enjoyed us loving on the from afar.
The other animals were friendly and enjoyed us feeding them.
The drive through was very nice the reindeer seem to want to go home with you.
The office sells animal food for $4.00 and $8.00
You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy a day at Promise Land Zoo.

We brought my 4 y/o daughter and did the VIP tour. First off, I will say that she loved it. There was ample opportunity to interact with animals via either feeding or petting which she loved. The tram bus driver was pleasant (although corny) but it made for a fun excursion. As for the rest of the employees, they seemed as though they did not really want to be there. My daughter would say hello to them and they would just ignore her. You work at a place where you deal with children consistently. Some fake enthusiasm wouldn't hurt. The girl who did the VIP animal encounter was also a little too grouchy for my taste. This zoo, and most of Branson, clearly does not believe in COVID and no precautions were taken. They even went as far as saying that they would make fun of you for wearing masks. I found that to be very concerning and ignorant. If you must go to Branson, the zoo is an okay way to spend a couple hours, however it is not worth the $150 price tag that comes with it.

Missouri and the city of Branson are no longer under a mask mandate, you are welcome to wear your own PPE if you desire.

I gave this 2 stars because my daughter did enjoy feeding the animals. But besides that, we were not impressed with this place. It was very expensive for price of admission. I felt sad for the animals- two big cats (tiger and lioness) were in a very small enclosure. What's the point of having them there if you don't have the space for them to properly roam? We also had to pay to feed the farm animals and for the price we paid for admission I think food should be included. This was a hilly zoo which made it difficult for the grandparents to traverse. We also did the drive thru zoo which was a complete waste of time. I can drive down the highway and see more wildlife than we did there. The poor giraffe was by itself and you could drive by but that was it. Please save your money or donate the price of admission to an organization committed to animal welfare.

The gal who does the VIP experience is phenomenal and made that part of our day truly enjoyable. However, we purchased the Child VIP+ ticket for our daughter for $89.95 and then was told upon our arrival that our daughter could not do the VIP+ experience because you have to be 8-years old. I showed the staff their own website where we bought our tickets prior to arrival and it CLEARLY states: Child VIP+, Ages 2-12. The staff could not give me an explanation and then when I asked to be refunded the money ($41.95 for VIP vs $89.95 for VIP+), I was told that they cannot do refunds and to email their director. I could not get ANY resolution or refund and am still waiting to hear back via email on our issue.

Our website says at least twice prior to checkout, and you would have to physically select a button that says, minimum age for VIP+ is 8+ for sloths and 12+ for other encounters. This is for your safety as well as the safety of our animals. Attendants can not give refunds on online tickets.

Good experience. We did the basic admission so we walked the foot safari and then drove our own vehicle through the drive through part. You pay your admission and then if you want to feed certain animals while you walk the small cup of food is an additional $5 but the kids enjoyed it so it was worth the extra money. Feeding the parakeets was free. It's an average amount of walking through a zoo with few animals.
We drove our own vehicle through the drive through part. All of the animals are in fences so no chance of damaging your vehicle. We've done it once so probably wouldn't go back again kind of thing.

I cannot brag enough about this zoo! After passing the zoo several times during our visit to Branson, we thought it was just another zoo. We as a family have been to many.
We decided to check it out one day and are still touched by the day we spent as a family there.
The staff was exceptional! The animal interaction and host for that was amazing!
The petting zoo and closeness of the animals, the amount of time we spent just taking our time… we ended up closing the zoo down.
It embedded memories within our hearts, and ones we will not forget!
The kids are still bringing it up, and asking when we can go back!!!
Grateful for that magical day.
The bus ride was fantastic to see the animals out back and truly every experience package is worth the money! They truly care about the animals and the people, the interaction inside, where you can hold animals, it was a fav! They were so good to give us time alone just the fam and instructor, answered each question and the kids were so intrigued and grateful for not being rushed! They truly learned so much!
Unlike any zoo weve been to around the nation! They need word of mouth or better advertising because from the outside, it looks like just another zoo. Its PHENOMENAL , my husband, kids and self have fallen in love with it! Will definitely be going again!

We purchased a drive through zoo experience. The cost for a family of four was $90. Trust me this is far from a drive through zoo, and we have been to drive through zoo's before. This is nothing more than a drive around the out side perimeter experience. The animals looked to be malnourished, and the enclosures were simply rusty fencing. I hope the owner uses my money to put towards the animals and not straight into his, or her own pocket. I sincerely felt for all of the animals on site. My entire family was very disappointed, and worried for every animal involved in this attraction. This facility definitely spends it's money on falsifying it's advertising. When it should clearly be going to animal care and grounds keeping. Don't believe me, go see it for yourself, and tell me what you think afterwards. Any reply from it's owner will state that we should have paid for a VIP tour. Sure why not, more money to go directly into the owners pocket rather than toward the facility. As an owner you may want to reduce your pricing for your drive through experience, and actually take yourself to a drive through zoo before you advertise yourself as one. It may help you understand what people expect. At minimum let customers know that they are driving only around the outside of your fencing, and not through your park.
My post is simply to help potential customers know not to get to excited about an advertised "drive through" zoo experience. $90 was not worth what we experienced at this attraction.
The previous post had no images simply because I honestly didn't think they were worth taking. However my youngest disappointed daughter did take some photos. so I am reposting this review so I can include the images she took.

The drive thru is a free addition (also under construction) to all of our admissions. Even with our Basic Admission you get the Foot Safari, Parakeet Paradise and the Animal Adventures Building. You skipped 90% of what we have at the zoo!
Our VIP Animal Adventures are amazing, check out what our guests that actually experience the park have to say!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely LOVED it!! Especially having the close encounters with the small animals and sloths.

For the steep price, the drive-through section should have an audio version available, so that people can simply listen to descriptions of the animals they are passing by, instead of just signs that the driver cannot see from his/her side of the car. The animals in the indoor cages were not well-labeled, sometimes not even in the cage. Very few attendants on duty for questions. I would definitely NOT recommend it for anyone.

Why are the Peking ducks on a slanted rocky hill , the only water they have is in a plastic nearly empty kiddie pool . Additionally, the crane is in a metal shed with no water

I would recommend our VIP Adventure in Branson. Lots of great hands on activities and guided tram tour too! You can also add on our Safari Park for half price and do both!

If you purchase the VIP package, do you still do the self drive tour and the tour guided tram? or just the tour guided tram?
Jacob S
Colona, IL7 contributions
You can do both with the vip package and there’s two kinds for vip if u want a special encounter with an animal which allows you to go into an enclosure and touch or interact with animals pick the best experience package which is the second most expensive package I think it was around 75 dollars a person which I know is expensive but i believe it was money well spent. Then there’s a ATV tour which is 150 dollars a person but you get a personal guide on an atv around the park and get to do everything that’s in all the other packages and if u have any questions about the packages ask the zookeeper at the front desk she was extremely helpful and will point you in the right direction I hope I got back to you in time sorry for the wait if you go I hope u have a blast like me and my girlfriend did. If you can try the owl encounter it was amazing!
