Great place to take the family

It was a very interesting place to visit and the personnel working there were very informative. It was fun to feed the trout and seeing how they are raised for release.

Really enjoyed this stop. Interesting. Beautiful area by the river where we watched trout fishermen and walked around a while.

Great workers - a lot of information in a short time. Kids weren't bored, and we learned a lot. It was cool to see how the fish are raised from the beginning to their release.

A free family activity which is also educational. Well, actually if you we want to buy some fish food, it will cost you 25 cents a handful. But other than that, there is movie showing how the eggs are collected and fertilized, then the fish are raised and sent to the local lakes. After that, you can tour the hatchery... More

Whenever you are looking for somewhere to go for an hour or so that is free, the fish hatchery is a great place to go for yourself or your family. The children can run around and look at the trout of all sizes. Also, the hatchery is located at the bottom of the dam and it is awesome all by itself.
