Stopped to see the dam and fish. Educational for fish growth and lake stocking. Kids would enjoy. Plus it's free.

Until I went through here I did not know that trout were not native to Missouri. We took a tour of the hatchery, which was very interesting.

This place was wonderful for all of us. There were numerous tanks with all different sized trout. It was fascinating to watch them, feed them plus I got great pictures. Go all the way to the back for the big fish and no covers for your best shots. Make sure you watch the short film before you go out -... More

We have been before but decided to go and kill some time while in Branson. The fish food is only a quater for a handful. I think our party spent $5.00 feeding the fish. It is fun to watch the trout go crazy for the food. In the building they have several displays from live snakes, turtles, spiders, and fish.... More

The kids enjoyed it for about an hour. They had a short video and many fish aquariums inside. Then you go outside and it's time to feed the fish. Take lots of quarters to feed them, it goes quickly! We had 5 dollars worth and the kids loved it. It was extremely hot, so we went in, washed our hands... More

My husband and I visited between wine tours. We weren't sure what to expect but were told on the Duck Ride that this was a must see. The tour guide was young and refreshing and very knowledgeable. It was obvious that he enjoyed his job. We learned many new things about trout that we didn't know. The facilities were immaculate.... More

This a free event that is open to the public. Tours are also offered during different times of the day. Lots of fish. Very interesting to see all the trout. We've been visiting since our kids we very little.

Took 4,5,9 year olds boys. We arrived late afternoon when there are no tours, but the staff offered to start a short video for us. The older boys and we adults liked the video. Headed out to feed the fish after. The boys enjoyed looking for different size fish to see what they would do when you fed them. Staff... More

We watched a short video on how the trout are raised at the hatchery and our sin played in the learning room. We learned about snakes in the area as well. They have quarter machines to purchase food to feed the trout outside in the "race ways". It is all asphalt blacktop and since it was a hot day, we... More

What a great activity for young kids and the best part is it is free. Small area with tanks and exhibits for the kids. Small presentation if you are interested. Lots of hands on activities. Outside you can see the huge "tanks" and feed the fish for 25 cents. Great activity to get away from the strip.
