Didn't know what to expect but am so glad we stopped in! My 2 1/2 year old loved everything from petting the reptiles to feeding and releasing the beautiful butterfly's. The highlight for me though was the amazing Christmas tree made from poinsettias in the upper level in the room with the butterfly's. Was hands down the prettiest tree I've... More

They have a butterfly room and they give each person a plastic flower that the butterflies land on and eat nectar. It was fun to watch my kids be still and enjoy the butterflies. The wristbands are good for 3 days, so it is a great deal if you stay go two or three times.

Our 5 & 7 year old kids loved it. The butterflies are very pretty. It is a relaxing place. A bit overpriced we thought. I can see where it'd probably be very humid at times. We were glad it was cold outside. It was nice inside. I would recommend if you have small kids or love butterflies.

The teenagers LOVED the mirror maze. We all had our faces painted with butterflies and we were able to participate in the butterfly release. It is so awesome to see all the beautiful butterflies fluttering around. Wheelchairs and walkers can also roll inside the building due to ramps. AWESOME experience for all. Highly recommend.

The butterflies were amazingly beautiful. Yellows, blues, greens..an abundance of colors and sizes. It felt like I was in a real Amazon rain forest filled with exotic creatures. If you stand still the butterflies will lite on the nectar filled tube you're given when you enter the lush, green and humid butterfly sanctuary. Don't leave without walking through the Amazon... The Butterfly Palace was peaceful and a good way to spend a few hours on a chilly morning. The rain forest climate is warm and inviting. The butterflies are beautiful and numerous. The maze is fun even for retirees. The reptiles downstairs are interesting and fun to watch. All in all, a great place to visit.

Make sure you visit when they release the butterflies! Not quite as nice as the one at Callaway Gardens but worth the visit. Cost $18.00 which includes 3 days, the butterflies, small amphibian exhibit, a simulated banyan tree adventure, and a mirror maze. In order to take advantage of the 3 day visit you cannot remove the wristband. My daughter... More
