We went on July 4th. Get there early because they only allow a certain number of cars in at a time, then they shut the gate until someone leaves. The sand was ok and the kids and I built some castles. We enjoyed the easy access to the water and the protected nature of the area from boats and jet... More

This was a great day at the lake! it cost $5 to get the car in and everyone was entertained for the day. There was swimming, a play ground, sand volleyball, and free life jackets. We took a cooler with drinks and snacks and made a day of it!

We aren't big "lake" people but wanted to do something cheap and our 2 year old was excited to play in the sand. The beach was nice and clean and we got there early and got a decent parking spot and place to sit. I'd recommend bringing a canopy or umbrella as we got tired of being in the sun.

Get there early as the park fills up fast and you won't be allowed in until someone exits. We arrived at 930 on a Saturday and left at noon. No shade or picnic areas at 930 so bring a shade structure or beach umbrella. Water shoes would be helpful to protect you feet on the rocket shore. No food or... More

The beach was a blast for my family. The water was about as clean as lake water gets, and even with a lot of people there it still didn't feel over crowded. We definitely would go back.

The water was beautiful! The kids had a blast. Be careful walking down the ramp both of my kids slipped on the sand. The water was very cool. Great time!

This was a nice little beach, the water was clear and the kids had fun. I would recommend wearing water shoes because the beach is very rocky.

Moonshine Beach is a public beach with sand near Table Rock Dam. The beach itself was great - kids had a good time and we were able to get a picnic table nearby. The only bad thing was the ladies bathroom was not that clean.

During our most recent trip to Branson we decided to give Moonshine Beach a try. We packed a cooler with goodies, threw our beach things in a bag...not quite knowing what to expect. What we got was super affordable (only $5 per car!!!!) awesome family outing. We got there early, swam, ate our picnic lunch, played in the sand, played... More
