About
Branson Murder Mystery Dinner Theater presents a NEW EXCITING SHOW for 2019, “Murder at the Town Vote,” and gives Branson another hilariously live dinner theater experience! You’ll find the same zany-crazy characters attempting to solve another unfortunate murder in Branson. New show! Great cast! Crazy new fun! Everyone is getting ready for the town vote when suddenly there is a mysterious death. This is where the story and the insanity begins! You have the opportunity to jump in on the action or simply enjoy everyone else in their new role in the show! There’s never a dull moment in “Murder at the Town Vote.” You’ll enjoy trains a whistlin’, guns a shootin’, and folks a yellin’ at this fun, family, and interactive dinner show. Hey, you could even turn out to be the murdering scum yourself. All this outrageous fun is based, rather loosely, mind you, on Branson’s actual history … with a lot of liberties taken, of course! You follow the clues and you get a chance to solve the murder.

I absolutely loved it here, I ended up being chosen to be on stage and then ended up being the second star aside Jacobie. After the show people came up gave me free tickets to a lot of shows telling me how hilarious I was, also being told how great I was on entertaining made me like the show even more because it made me feel worth something great. I'd love to be bk on stage with Jacobie and make more laughter. Food was pretty good, it was just all together awesome. I had a girl crush on Jacobie shhh. but I'd only say DVD skip on cuz they are pricey. I am hoping to visit in June for last bday celebration if I'm able to so I hope to be chosen again to help make a holler of a show, and a memory to keep for rest of my time.

We saw our first show and loved it so much, the next time we came to Branson we took friends. Jacobie explains how hynosis works in the first part of her show (which is very fascinating)! Then a short intermission (I would suggest you use the restroom because you will be laughing so hard you'll wish you had)! It is a dinner theater and it starts with a buffet which is really very good. Many choices of food, drink and dessert. A really great evening for the price. I highly recommend it. We will go back and take other friends next time we're in town.

This was the best of the four shows we saw. I liked it because it made you think. Certainly cannot say that for the other shows we saw.

I volunteered but the hypnosis did not work on me. We shared a table with another couple, and they were tourists just like us . But pretty soon the wife was hypnotized and up on stage dancing like a stripper. It must be real.

Real or not, the show was very funny and entertaining.

Place is not fancy, and food looked suspect. But unlike the other three shows, they had a full bar.

We spent the first hour eating with no entertainment. Then she came on and gave an hour seminar on how hypnosis worked and her political views then 30 min of hypnosis that wasn't that funny. Then another 30 min seminar on the ripple affect and how she saves animals. I've been to several hypnotist shows and they are hilarious this was not. Then to top of my 3 hour waste of time the the theatre was gross and dirty with a buffet meal that wasn't much better. Would not waste your money and even more important your time!!

We attended on 7/30/15 at 7pm. Myself, my husband and two kids (8) and (6).
Before the hypnotism, we ate dinner, which was good (not great) buffet style food. Dinner lasted too long. Then they play stadium "Let's get ready to rumble!!" music and pump up the crowd, I'm thinking this is going to be so fun!! Then Jacobie took the stage and bored us to tears. She's trying to put hypnotism into perspective of our daily lives but the show desperately needs an editor. She needs to have faith that her audience can "get" what she's trying to say in about 5-10 minutes, not 45 minutes.
We came to be entertained by the hypnotist show. I give that part of the show 4 stars. Volunteers were called to the stage at 8:50 and ended about 10. Then sweet Jacobie gets on stage to talk to us again about the evils of being hypnotized in our daily lives by politicians etc. and we sit for 20 more minutes while my 6 year old literally cries so that we can leave, which happens thankfully at 10:22.

This show is truly intertaining. My wife and I visited for our 10th anniversary - Christmas Eve 2014. We were amazed. Jecobie, the hypnotist and show conducter, is both knowledgeable and passionate in her beliefs and causes related to her show. As for the show itself, whether one believes in hypnosis or not, her show will intrigue you and Jecobie's engaging personality will sustain your interest throughout the show. Don't let the small venue and meager accommodations fool you. This show is definitely worth seeing. Not only will you be adequately intertained but, as well, you will leave having gained considerable insight into the mind as it relates to human behavior. My wife and I will see this show whenever we return to Branson, as no two shows can ever be the same with varying audiences. If you visit Branson my wife and I recommend you see Jecobie's Comedy Hypnisis Show.

We didn't really know what to expect, but Jecobie walked us through the process of hypnosis and explained it in layman's terms.
When the volunteers went forward to the stage the fun began. Nothing personally embarrassing, but just funny. We all laughed so hard.
great entertainment. Dinner was about average, but filling.

This show was a comedy hypnosis show with dinner. Dinner was a buffet, so just marginal. Typical buffet style with typical tepid temperature food. Eatable but nothing to brag about for sure.

The hypnosis show started with Jecobie talking for 35 minutes about hypnosis. So boring! It would have been fine if she had kept it to 10 minutes, but 35 minutes was ridiculous. Once all audience members were selected to participate, the show finally started. Some of the participants were not "under" which I guess is to be expected. She excused them from the stage as the show went on. The things she had the participants do were funny for the most part, and some were actually hysterical. However, she would keep things strung out too long before going on to something else.
The thing that bothered me the very most is at the end, she brought them "out" of hypnosis, but left certain parts of the hypnosis in place, supposedly to wear off when they got back to their rooms or went to sleep. Some of what she left them "under" was just downright wrong and mean. I heard so many comments and upset people after the show, as their "hypnotized" loved ones carried on still under the effects of the hypnosis. This wasn't right.
One of my own family members that had been hypnotized was having a very hard time after the show, and still had effects of the hypnosis the next morning. (the parts that he had left them "under" with)
I would not go to this show again, and it has nothing to do with my family's experience.

My husband and I and our 3 kids (ages range from 9 to 18) truly enjoyed this show. We couldn't get enough of it. It lasted a little over 2 hours, and Jecobie kept us entertained the whole time. She can seriously put on a great show! We laughed so much that we had to take Tylenol when the show ended because we had headaches from laughing so hard. She is truly talented, and is very funny and exciting. There is no pressure to participate in the show. My kids can't stop talking about this show. The show is reasonably priced, you must come! You won't regret it.

We were a family of 8 and none of us enjoyed the show. She spent the first half of show show talking...boring... At the end when she started trying to sell her tapes we did not want one so we were ready to leave which aparantly made her mad... because she made some inappropriate comments to try and embarrass us as we left. Our family would recommend you to skip this one waste of your money.
