With two boys under 8, we hiked the yellow (leads to homestead, views, and picnic tables), the green trail (around the homestead) the blue (steps galore but my 4yo managed just fine with a hand), and then part of the Taneycomo trail (purple) to see...More

Learned today to not always trust the trailhead map. It showed a connector trail so we would not have to climb 315 Stone stairs that are 100 years old. Welp that didn't work out so well! Got to the bottom and trail ended and the...More

You will have a chance to walk on one of two paved paths through the woods of Branson. You might see all kinds of wildlife. Take your whole family, even strollers. Also, take your camera. Best of all . . . its FREE!!!

We enjoyed this trail although strenuous for some due to stairs in one area and uneven ground. Easy to park right of Falls Creek Road in parking area.

The hike along the bluff above the lake was amazing. The trail was narrow and challenging in a few places, but you got up close and personal with the bluff and the effects of nature over thousands of years.

They basically have two trails which you can take for a hike. The longer trail allow you the opportunity to walk down a BUNCH of steps to Lake Taneycomo. If you're quiet, you will probably see some wildlife.

A short sometimes up and down hike with great views and interesting signage about the local history. If you're tired of the Branson kitsch, decompress and take this picturesque 1.5 hour walk.
