They had enthusiasm and energy for what they do with an excellent stage presence and a bit of humor thrown in. When the audience applauded at the end of an illusion Brian said, “Thank you!” That was a relief because a magician I saw the evening before seemed critical about how in his view the audience wasn’t applauding enough. That was very uncomfortable to endure, especially since we were sitting up front. So the Escape Reality show was fun and refreshing. We saw a few shows that were very loud with a lot of bright flashing lights, so this was a welcome break from that. We also enjoyed the dinner that was served after the show. The pork loin was tender in a delicious balsamic glaze and the chicken breast was moist with a tasty vegetable topping. There were new potatoes and the green beans were fresh not canned and prepared al dente just like they should be. The chocolate mousse was a light and creamy finish to the meal. The server was hard-working and friendly and promptly brought the extra butter I requested. Well, we were planning on going to Branson and while on the ship bought dinner tickets for his show. We saw his show this evening and we're just as in awe of his performance tonight as we were on the ship. This show is entertaining and you be asking yourself how did he do that?!!?? He is not your average magician. He is an illusionist, entertainer, magician all in one. This show is of great quality and such a good value. We are still talking about the tricks and wondering how he did it! The show is funny, entertaining and will leave you in amazement. Wow, what a wonderful evening of entertainment! Garry and Janine Carson have brought their award winning magic illusion show from the Las Vegas strip to Branson—and it’s now on our must see list for sure!
You begin with a delicious, hot three course meal - expertly served with all you could ask for - even a delightful dessert :).
Then get ready for mouth-dropping illusions and close up magic that will leave you asking “how did he do that?!” Lots of audience participation made it feel even more intimate :)
We’ve been going to Branson many years for our mother/daughter trip...and have nothing but high praise and recommendation for this wonderful new show!! DON’T MISS IT!

I’ve always been a fan of magic and illusions. This show did not disappoint. The illusions were first class and always kept me wondering “How did they do that?” The show moves along quickly and ends with you wanting more. It’s a great value with dinner included. You won’t be disappointed!

The show was phenomenal. It has great audience participation, and the tricks were mind blowing. The dinner ran late, and you were served in the balcony while the next show was preparing. This was a little distracting... not in a good way. The theater needs to get their act together, not the show.

The Escape Reality show did exactly what that type of show is supposed to, leave you scratching your head and asking "How'd they do that?" Garry has a good stage presence and a light comedic touch. This is definitely a family friendly atmosphere, with a decent amount of people chosen (mostly kids) from the audience to participate. The food was what you'd expect from this type of set up, and the portions were enough to satisfy anyone. (We'd had lunch fairly late in the afternoon, and when some of us didn't finish the waitress was quick to ask if there were any problems or anything they could do. There wasn't, but it was nice that they were interested in that) So, all in all an enjoyable way to spend an evening.

This was amazing! Insane stunts and illusions! We went on a week night in the middle of the week and there was still as much energy and performance as if there were 20x’s the amount of people there. Highly recommend this is a must-see show. The dinner afterwards was great as well, the servers are fun and energetic. All around an amazing experience and would highly recommend, you really escape reality with this show!

Great show that had some really mind blowing tricks! They did a great job getting most of the audience to participate at some point and was especially great with the kids. Show was very family friendly and was both funny and mind blowing. Added bonus, at the end of our show they said you could get 50% off tickets for the Hughes brothers show that night if that’s something you’re interested in.

The show was very engaging. He had many people come on stage and help him out. At first it seemed hokey but then got really good. He was funny and friendly. Dinner I would give a 3 out of 5. It was a bit uncomfortable waiting to be seated between the show and dinner. The wait staff was great and the dinner was ok. You do not have a choice of food to eat. Everyone got the same thing. During dinner we were able to watch rehearsal for the music show that was going to start next. Those with tickets for the music show ate dinner with us. That meant that they got to watch the rehearsal for the show they were going to see. That would have annoyed me if I was them. Hugh's theater is pretty run down..seemed very second tier. All of those things together I would give it a 3 out of 5.

I seen a LOT of magic shows and this was by far the best. Crazy that he was on Masters of Illusion and performed so many shows at the MGM in Las Vegas. Googled him later and found he does fundraisers too. Great to see an entertainer give back to the community.

I have been to every magic show in Branson and would rank this one on top. Entertainers are genuinely nice, relatable, and amazing talent.
I bought the magic kit after the show for my 11 yr old and she absolutely loves it. Practices for hours without us having to help🙂 and enjoys surprising us.
I wasn't sure how the dining experience would work. It was delicious . Made our night a breeze not having to plan for dinner and show.

We had pot roast, roasted chicken, roasted potatoes, green beans for the adults. The kids had macaroni and cheese and chicken fingers. Everyone got a brownie for dessert. It was really good.
