My husband and I ,with another couple - were in Branson this past week and had heard that The Rankin Brothers was the show to see - we hadn't heard of them and didn't know what to expect - so on Friday night we decided to give it a try. OMG - if you want to walk out of a show feeling on top of the world - this is the show to see! We found ourselves back to our high school years when you could understand and enjoy the music of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's. It is 100% live - no taped music or lip synching here! And these guys impressions are unbelievable - they really sound like the artists. If you like Elvis, Neal Diamond, Sonny & Cher, The Righteous Brothers, Buddy Holly and many, many more - you will love the Rankin Brothers! The boys comedy is good and clean. The 3 back up singers and band are also great.
Plus, one other thing that you don't see much of these days - the Rankin Brother's staff are so accomodating and go overboard to make sure you are welcome and also how much they appreciate your visit when you leave.. They greet you with a smile - we even got to meet the boys dad who was also very nice.
So if you are in Branson - take the time to visit this GREAT show - we guarantee you will have a memorable evening.

Some friends and I went to Branson for 4 nights last week. We were invited to go see "The Rankins" at the Mickey Gilley theater on Hwy 76. The Rankins are a duo of brothers who sing the oldies and impersonate some of our past musical artists such as Simon and Garfunkel, Buddy Holley, Sonny and Cher and of course ELVIS!!! The artists were very high spirited and the show was fun to watch. I'd recommend this show for anyone. It's very family oriented. Go have fun in Branson and watch the Rankins!!

Have seen them several times in Branson and this last December in Texas. They just make me keep coming back. Disappointed a fellow Texas would stoop so low on their review. As Tina Turner would say, "Simply The Best."

The Rankin Brothers Show is the best show in Branson. It is for all ages. Mark & Matt (as well as the Rankinettes and the band) pour their hearts into this show. Meet the entire cast afterwards. Take home their cd's and dvd to enjoy.

Have enjoyed all the Rankin Brothers shows since I first saw them at the Caravelle in 2010. They instantly became one of my favorite shows. I saw their new show last weekend and it is even better than before. The show seems to be more upbeat than before and I love all the new impersonations they do. The stage is lower and closer to the audience. Both Matt and Mark have a special way of connecting with their audience and having them "up close and personal" adds to the show.
The Rankinettes are great. Lori, Betsy and Amy are just too good to be called "back-up singers" as they can hold their own center stage. The band is great, but considering some of them have been with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Roy Clark, Sammy Davis, jr and Tom Jones, it is no wonder their sound is superb.
A trip to Branson without seeing The Rankin Brothers is like having pancakes without syrup or cake without the icing. Don't miss this show. You will walk in as a customer and leave as part of the family.

My family has seen the Rankin Brothers Show at every opportunity since they arrived in Branson in 2008. Since we live near Branson we've seen it over 80 times. It takes more than just a good show to make us want to return time and again. They keep the show fresh, every member of the case is expert in their field, their love for their craft is energetically displayed, and they make themselves available to their fans after the show. I've seen many "tribute shows" but the Rankin Brothers that it to a totally new level. They present music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's authentically; just the way you heard it on the radio and records back in the day. I have never been to a Rankin Brothers show that the audience didn't gasp in amazement as each new song/artist is performed. Positive comments from the audience as they file out of the auditorium is commonplace. You can hear the excitement in their voices as they relate to their friends their favorite highlights of the show, and they are many. The Rankin Brothers are exceptionally talented but the show also features the talents of the amazing Rankinettes backup vocalists. The musicians are the best in their field and have the versatility to provide the variety of sounds of four decades of hit music by the eras popular artists. Be sure your Branson trip includes the Rankin Brothers Show. I recommend seeing it early on your visit because you just might want to see it again before you have to leave.

Hello, I just bought a 1971 Gibson Les Paul that has the name Sherry Rankin scribed into the head, the end of the guitar, I wonder if she remembers doing that? Does she know for sure it is a 1971LP?

Hi Dave, I checked with my mom and it must have been another Sherry Rankin. Thank you for the question and sorry I am just seeing it and replying. Take care and enjoy the Les Paul!
