There is so much to do at this water park. It is very clean... They do have life jackets available to use for free for your young ones. They have a couple of different kiddie areas and then some big rides for bigger kids and...More
The first is SDC, and the 2nd is Whitewater (also owned by the Hershends who own SDC). It is a GREAT WAY to stay cool in the Summer, all the local teens have season passes, and tourists can by special priced passes if you want...More
We took advantage of the Night Swim deal, and it was well worth it. Even with less time at the park, we were able to go on rides multiple times, and the park was shadier than it would be in the afternoon. The rides are...More
Middle of August heat so of course it was popular and busy. Still lots of fun and lines moved fairly quick. KaPau Plummet is a blast, but they make guys remove their shirts if wearing one and you can feel every seam where the tubes...More

I highly doubt you will need to worry. The water depth depends on the slide. All tube slides are 3 foot deep in the landing pool because they are older slides. They have stairs at the end of the pool that you can land on, if 3 feet is too deep. The kids slides are all new and have a landing pool depth of 1 foot for Splashaway Kay and the slides in Coconut Cove empty into the pool that circles the entire treehouse, which is about 6 inches. The body slides and mat racer for older kids all have a landing pool of 4 inches to 1 foot. I am 5' 11 myself and can also not swim. I dont use lifejackets. The only place that has a water depth that is a bit too much for me is the Wave Pool at 6 feet. Anytime I go in there, I make sure to be on a tube and paddle my way slowly. Ahola River is 4 feet deep. In this park, its hard to find deep water.
