The Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee Show was very interesting and their singing voices were great. We loved hearing Mickeys memories and past experiences. The skilled band of musicians was really good. It felt very safe being there during the covid period because the workers and patrons wore face masks, and family groups were seated several seats apart from each other. Hand sanitizing stations were available.

Wonderful wonderful show...but be prepared to little to no/social distancing. We attended several shows at other theaters and all had 3 seats/every other row between each party EXCEPT this theater. Yes, masks where worn when up but everyone around us was within arms length of us. I attempted to explain my concern to manager but don't expect her to listen to your concern...she was very defensive of her "safe seating" arrangement. The other patrons were considerate with mask-wearing when moving about (as was most of Branson!) but considering the average age of everyone enjoying Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee, the theater seemed more concerned about quantity rather than quality.

As I told you when you called, I am sorry that you did not feel that you could come to the boxoffice and let us know that people were too close to you. Someone (possibly you) was sitting in the wrong seats. We are social distancing where no one is sitting directly in front or behind you and a minimum of two seats on each side of you. As I explained to you it is impossible for me to fix this situation after the show. We do and will always fix seating when addressed before and/or during any/all shows. When I ask you if you brought this to the staffs attention at the time of concern.....you said, "of course not" then you hung up on me. I called you back to say that our theatre seats 1000 people whereas we were only able to seat 354 people that night due to extreme social distancing. God bless you and hope you underestand.

Saw the Grand Shanghai Acrobats here. It was a decent show, but mostly kids trying to get their foot in the door for this kind of entertainment. They were mostly kids and a few mistakes were made (hey, they did better than I would've). The theater could've been cleaner and the Houdini style "escape" trick at the very end of the show was quite hoaky. Having said that, I still enjoyed the majority of the show and walked away at the end with a very positive feeling. It was still a good show and the comedy aspect was good too. Great showmanship.

They have a few different shows there at different times, which is a nice option. The building itself is pretty nice but the seats are not very good. They are theater type seats that sit very close to the floor and are about wore out. Not a good place to visit if you have any back or hip problems like I do. It is a clean building with clean bathrooms. It is an old building that has been kept up pretty well.

Mu wife enjoyed a Sunday afternoon show that lasted about 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission at the halfway point.. The show consists of various performances from an individual juggling or performing on a unicycle up to larger groups doing coordinated stunts.

This is no Cirque du Soliel, as there are no special effects and even the set and lighting are pretty basic. But the performers are remarkably athletic and talented, and it was a pleasure to see them going through their acts.

If your looking for an acrobatic show, go elsewhere. The show is completely different from the advertisement and misleading on purpose in my opinion. No one informed us the Shanghai acrobats were in China and we paid full fare for basically a B team talent show. I understand its off season but I paid for an acrobatic show and the majority of the show was attempted humor combined with poorly executed (many drops etc) acts. None (Not one) of the acts were acrobatic but we saw a juggler, a yo-yo, a contortionist and an escape act. Worse show I’ve ever paid for in my life. They asked us to write a review so here you go….

Coincided is the word that describes Mickey. He went on and on about himself. Sang a little then talked about himself some more. I was so glad when the show ended. it was a waste of time.

I agree with several other reviewers. We feel like the advertising is deceptive. We did not see Shanghai acrobats as shown in ads, on marquee, and on posters at the theatre. Yes, we were entertained, but it was not at all what we expected. If we would have known this is what we were going to see, we would have not purchased tickets for it. The performers were good but would not make it on a show like America's Got Talent. Go with very low expectations and you'll probably enjoy it.

Kids will love this show (as will the adults), but the kids will be captivated by what they are seeing, and not squirm around in their seats wishing they were back at the hotel. God bless parents who take their kids to other shows in Branson, but most of the shows parents love will bore the kids. Youngsters don't get the jokes, care about the costume changes, recognize musical prowess or stroll down memory lane with the songs. However the kids can relate to the acrobatics and mesmerizing skill of the Shanghai athletes. The kids will pay attention to this show and actually thank you for taking them there.
