Branson Early Evening Christmas Light Tour

13 reviews
If you're in Branson during the holidays, go on a tour of the city's Christmas displays for an easy and relaxing way to get into the spirit of the season. Traveling by Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, you'll ride through two twinkling displays, plus head to Branson Landing to see its nativity scene, which appears to be suspended above Lake Taneycomo. End with a stop at the historical Branson Hotel for a glass of wine, hot chocolate, or coffee at the Backstage Cafe and Wine Bar.

I was expecting a little more after reading the reviews. Yes, there are some unique stores, but nothing out of the ordinary. I was not impressed with Kringles as their decorations were too overpriced. Some of the other shops just seemed to be overpriced junk. We didn’t get the full experience as some of the shops were closed for the day. We should have went with the original recommendation and took our time elsewhere.

Shopping at the Grand Village was fun and felt very safe during the covid period, as face masks were worn by the helpful workers, and required for the patrons. There were hand sanitizing stations available also. It was easy to stay six feet apart from other shoppers because there were fewer shoppers even at the end of Veterans Week, which is traditionally very busy. Lovely Christmas decorations were in place during the stroll through the village. Loved the Kringles huge Christmas shop, as well as the Thomas Kincaid Painting Shop, and Dickens Store. Had to stop at the Mulberry shop while my husband visited the Peter Engler Woodworking Shop. So many shops, so little time between shows.

We enjoyed shopping here while on vacation. There are a lot of unique specialty shops. The shop employees were so friendly and helpful. We bought lots of treasures! The area was very clean. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Great smaller in size shopping site. Many great stores with friendly staff in each one. Our daughter loved the toy store and we loved the prices!

If you love Christmas, then make it a point to shop at Kringles. There are a couple of boutiques that sell cute dinner clothes, so support your local businesses.
