    Still Excellent
Every time that Sight and Sound changes there production we attend during that shows run. This theater exceeds what one would expect from a Broadway Stage Production. This was our 9th Production to attend. Highly recommend the current shoe Esther it is well worth the trip to Branson.

The Sight and Sound experience is one that leaves you eager to see the next show!! The three sided stage emerses you into the middle of the action and story. Amazing voices, beautiful costumes, superb acting, live animals, and exquisite scenery all combine to give an outstanding and unforgettable theater production. This was our third time seeing a story brought to life.. ready for number 4.!!!!!
We are ready to start the countdown for your 4th visit! Thank you for the kind words!

    Truly Amazing
This is our second trip to the Sights and Sounds Theatre in Branson. This year's production of Queen Esther was fabulous! I was sitting next to a younger boy when the side curtains were opened and it was a delight to see his reaction to the stages on the side! This is called SIGHT and SOUND for a reason.... the stage sets are indescribably good and the sound is immersive. While most will say there is not a bad seat in the house, I much preferred my balcony seats to the floor seats that I had last year. I am quite short, so I felt like I was looking around a taller guy the entire time last year; whereas the balcony seats are better staggered.
Thank you for sharing this experience with us!

    Fabulous but…
The Bible story about Esther was excellent and actors are awesome! Two thing I wants to mentioned: the traffic to the parking lot was horrible cuz long line of traffic. Need expand more lanes to get there. The seat is very tight and small, not enough room for my leg to able to move that much cuz show is about 3 hrs. How come they didn’t make the seat more comfortable. Why not offering better seat size for more $?
We greatly appreciate your feedback and will always be looking for ways to improve your experience. Blessings!

Sight and Sound Theatres - Queen Esther Play
Saw Queen Esther Play in Branson, Missouri. Wonderful experience. Beautiful theatre and very easy to park and exit grounds. A major plus was the numbers of stalls in the women's rest room to accomodate the crowd during intermission. Never seen anything run so smooth with that size crowd.
Thank you for the kind words and feedback. We greatly appreciate you.

    Excellent Show!
The set and costumes were spectacular. All the performers had beautiful voices although the music/songs wasn’t memorable. Do NOT sit within the first 6 or so rows from the stage. For this show and stage, farther is better. Ideally, you should sit in one of the center sections, at least 10 rows away to experience the full, wraparound stage. Powerful story and a really wonderful production.

    The Best of the Rest
As usual, the Sight and Sound theater has the best productions and so worth every penny. Every time I see a production I say it’s the best but then the next one is even better. Even if you are not interested in the biblical stories, then the talent and stage is worth it on its own. Don’t go to Branson without seeing this amazing attraction.

    The Best
This is an awesome production. The sets, the performers for this were the best. I was amazed by the story and the music. Truly one of the best things I've seen on stage. Getting in and out was fairly easy. They made it pretty streamlined for entrances and exits. Their staff was great. Ushers, box office and concessions were all easy to find and happy to help. This wasn't our first experience here, we've been here before. I would not only see future shows, I would see this one again. Thank you for an amazing show, but thank you most for the message. Well done.

It is very uncomfortable too sit so closely together. While the show was good it's just to long for that close quarters. When intermission finally came it was difficult to get out and the usher funneling you through the restrooms and hallways were very crankie for something that I paid to see!

When we bought our tickets, we were told that social distancing would be practiced and that the theater would max out at about 50%. I am immunocompromised due to serious illness, so this trip was something I had looked forward to because we were assured all the venues were being cautious to keep people safe. Our dismay grew stronger with every moment as more and more people packed into the theater with absolutely no social distancing. People were coughing all around us and had there been 6 feet of distance around us in every direction, it wouldn’t have bothered us so badly. To keep me safe, we left before the show even began. My review is obviously not about the show but about management. Had they done a good job with following CDC guidelines, they would have gotten a better score. I will say that upon our leaving (I left in tears, I might add), they were very kind, compassionate and helpful. All that being said, they were the ONLY event we attended that broke CDC guidelines. That doesn’t shed good light on a theater that has a reputation of spreading the gospel. I was incredibly disappointed.

To start with, Id give the message of this production 5 stars. However, this is one of the most expensive tickets in Branson and you should be able to find this message at a Sunday church service forfree so Im reviewing the production and notthe message.

The box office experience is at best average and service pretty much ho hum. The concessions are horribly overpriced and the worst in town. $10 dollars for a collectors cup of coke with acanbout a can of cokeworth of beverage in it? $2 for a refill? Cmon...... Its a big theater and was filled. Bathroom capacity was underwhelming and there were long lines. The staff trying to fa cilitate this problem did not seem helpful.

As a performance this is pretty much standard faire. Its not great and its not awful. Liberties were taken with the Noah story and I will admit that its biblically based but its not scripturally accurate.. Imagination was used. I thought that the performance of Jepthah was admirable but the others left me flat. I mean it was all ok but this is maybe the most expensive overall ticket in town. The script seemed flat, the performances were not special, the songs werent great and they were performed to church standards rather than top tier production show standards. Blocking and stage direction was poor. Overall it was underwhelming when you compare it against what the tickets cost.

The set design however is a Bravura experience. Never have I at any level of theater experience seen an audience rise to their feet and give a standing ovation to the set. The set to open the post intermission experience was worthy of every cheer, clap, and outburst of acclaim.

Outside of Jepthah the performance of this show just seems barely adequate if not flat. Its the most expensive tic,et in town and short of being military you wont find a discount. The set design lifts the whole experience up by its boot straps and enters the realm of mediocrity. The set design is easily 5 stars if not better. The message and Christian theme is 5 stars. The overall experience and what you pay to see is mediocre. A 3 star review for this performance is a kindness.

As the name implies, the play is about the ministry of Jesus Christ. It was extremely well done and contains all the elements of a fine stage show.....acting, dialog, singing, action, animals, and education. For Christians who know their Bible, the presentation is highly uplifting. But to provide transparency and clarity, the production takes a little "literary license" by filling in some minor historical gaps in the time-line of Christ's life and is not completely chronologically correct. However, all the scenes are consistent with the Bible. This was certainly worth the cost, time, & effort spent in attending the show and I would highly recommend it.

Every show at Sight and Sound is great just be a size and power of the venue.
NOAH was a very good show.
I'd recommend being at least 15 rows back so you can see the whole scene without twisting your head.

We concur with the reviews below. We saw "Jesus" at the theater in November 2021 and it was amazing. Tickets were $60 a piece, and it was well worth it.

The 2,060-seat theater is amazing, and the "stage" wraps around much of the theater. Only bad thing was our seats were close to one side so we had to strain to see the actors above and behind us.

The cast of about 40 was very talented and featured incredible singers. The sets are Disney quality and include 6 computer controlled scenes that float in and out of the stage. A typical Broadway show features 1 or 2 computer controlled sets, for comparison. The huge, 300 foot-wide video backdrop is beautiful.

Don't let your kids play in the aisles or they'll get run over by the herd of horses, camels, sheep, goats and pigs that run in and out of the theater.

If you ever saw the Atlanta Passion Play, you will be disappointed only by the lack of great songs in the production. But everything else is a Disney version of the APP on steroids.

The show does take some creative license with the Bible account, but nothing is problematic in our opinion. They flesh out conversations that may have occurred to make an interesting story. And this is a theatrical production, not a Bible reading.

You won't be disappointed. This is a must-see in Branson.

I love Sight and Sound Theatre. They always do an amazing job on the shows they produce. I have only seen Samson and Noah thus far, but they were both extraordinary. They have such talent in actors, set design, and story telling. I love the way they bring the Bible to life and immerse you in Biblical stories. I always leave impressed and with joy. My family usually sits in the balcony so that we can see everything from actors and animals coming in through the back and seeing the extended stage during the show. I hope to see more of their shows in the future and would recommend that anyone stop here!

Every family should see this performance. It is fabulous! So moving and spiritual. The cast is so talented and tells this Bible story in a very audience-friendly way. It was so creative and beautiful. Theater required masks and allowed decreased capacity. I haven’t been out in 6 months til this vacation and I felt very safe.

The theater uses a three-sided stage to create spectacles of Bible stories with a largely mainstream Christian approach. During the season, they do a Moses show, a Noah show, a Jesus show, and a couple of others. They add OK but not great singing and dancing (we attended after a week of Branson shows, some of which did have great singing and dancing). They also add human interaction and human doubts and questions presented with reasonable acting. But the reason to go is the spectacle -- our version of Noah had some 75 live animals and several dozen animatronic ones. The scenes inside the Ark spread across both sides of the theater.

We attended the 3:30 pm showing of this fabulous telling of Jesus' history altering story yesterday (4/7/2022). Blending the Biblical narratives of Jesus life on Earth, this is a thrilling production and we highly recommend it for believer and unbeliever alike. The immense stage with massive moving set pieces takes us on the Sea of Galilee, and through the countryside to Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple, Gethsemane, and ultimately Golgotha. The seemless blend of impressive technology and sound, staging, people, and even live animals, draws us into this marvelous ancient culture and land. The ambitious production manages to do two equally difficult things at the same time; it pulls off grand scale while creating intimate connection with the audience throughout. All of this leads to an exciting, engaging, and enduring image of Jesus of the Bible. It ultimately leads us to the most important question we all must answer: who is Jesus?
