I did receive a request from TripAdvisor yesterday, November 10th, requesting a refund for you. Which I agree to. You booked and paid through TripAdvisor, not directly with us. Therefore the cancelation and refund has to be done through them. I have no way to refund the payment to you. But I do approve TripAdvisor to do it. Which they will then reimburse you and subtract from our next payment. These type of misunderstandings are why it's always better to deal directly with the business, rather than a third party, online booking site. The refund to you from TripAdvisor is approved by me.
