Was invited on a corporate meal for the Leigh v Salford game. Really like this compact ground, viewing from seats was good. The food we had was also very good and piping hot. Superb pre match entertainment with a band and superb fireworks

My little grand son and I have been to LSV a three times and have been extremely impressed with the whole experience on each occasion. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The venue is well tended and cared for with regard to cleanliness and condition. Parking is easy and very efficient.

Had the misfortune to attend a function at the inappropriately named Legends Bar here recently. What a disgrace. Was met at the door by a bouncer who was taking any presents off guests that had alcohol in. Talk about spoiling the evening for the host already. Was given some guff about them being given back later and something to do with licensing laws but never heard this at ANY venue I’ve EVER been to EVER but hey ho, must be a Leigh thing. The buffet arrived and we had been advised they would cater for a gluten free guest in our party but despite the buffet consisting of pasties, pizza, sausage rolls and sandwiches, their pathetic excuse for a gluten free option was a plate of ham & cheese and some dry salad. What an absolute joke. Fortunately Morrisons over the road was still open so he got something decent to eat there. The buffet was OK but every single sandwich had the worlds most strongest onions in them. Even after scraping them off the taste still completely over powered the sandwich and ruined it. Word of advice - Not everyone likes onions - especially on an egg mayo sandwich. They appeared to have several disabled car park spaces near the venue but these were cordoned off and you couldn’t access them so a total waste of time. I presume these are available on match days for the people that actually need them but as this was just a function, they couldn’t be bothered making them available which is inexcusable. Some more advice - a mirror in the gents toilet might not go amiss. Presume the womens toilet has one so why not the mens? So glad it wasn’t my function we attended as I’d be embarrassed to have it here.

Good view of game. Man Utd v Man City u21. How ever food was terrible. Burnt meat and potato pie, which was dry, hard potatoes, worst pie I have ever had and I'm 69. Coffee was awful, coloured water. For the price this was insulting and not fit for consumption.

Well with a family member playing for Leigh, I thought that five of us would go.
I booked the hospitality deal, reduced slightly as two had season tickets.
I can only praise the staff in the suite, efficient and quick.
A reasonable meal, no complaints at all.
Then the afternoon was soured bya complete jobsworth, who wants to apply a bit of leeway into his script.
I spoke with a lady on the veranda door and asked if i could stay in that area and she agreed.
Reason being my mobility , especially when i saw the steps down to the seated area.
I politely asked people if iI could sit in the vacant seat, nobody refused my request and said if and when the season ticket holder came, you understand that you will have to move.
I said no problem at all.
I moved on two occasions , then sat next to a lady that said, this seat is always empty as no one has it at all.
The Jobsworth appeared and insisted I moved. I explained the situation again.
Repeating myself I said this seat was always vacant as told by the kind lady I was sat next to.
He vanished and returned later saying I could stay there on this occassion, but in future I should tell the staff on booking that I have a mobility problem .
Sadly he spoilt my day and I said that I wont be coming here ever again, and that will cost you more that the £250 plus, that I payed out on this visit.
Common sense with people like that is non existant.
I had no trouble making my booking and it was handled very well by the lady I dealt with.
Apart from no parking list had my actual name on.
Return, no thank you.

Visited for a Leigh Centurions rugby league match. Great atmosphere in a modern and comfortable stadium. Very friendly and helpful staff.

A well proportioned little ground, three single tiered all seater stands well a terrace behind one of the goals. Nice to see just shy of 5,000 for the girls' first home game.
Located within an out of town retail type park with a large Morrisons and a fun pub across the road the LSV stadium is a typical modern ground. The road layout means leaving the complex is arduous, we decided to do a big shop at the Morrisons as opposed to sitting in a queue for the East Lancs for over an hour.

I watched the under 23 teams play for free at the stadium in Leigh Spors Village. Great value for free, and enjoyed by a crowd of nearly 2000.
I stayed in the Local Holiday In Express which was very good
