We went here today with my parents and children. The gardens were good with a puzzle for the kids to solve as we went around. The outdoor escape game was excellent. The children (age 3 and 5) really loved it. They could help with all the puzzles and they were really unusual quirky games. They had little water sprayers dotted around with buttons to push which would be really cooling in the hot sun. The lady was very friendly and welcoming and spoke good English. The cafe is closed at the moment so we had to go and find somewhere else to get lunch. We all had a great time here - something quite different to do. My daughter asked in the car after we left when we would be able to go back

This garden is very neglected. Many plants have long died but labels remain and yet some interesting plants have no identification. Displays are overgrown with weeds and lots of plants are struggling with drought and starvation. The need for an entry fee to a private garden is absolutely necessary but the value for money with this one is low. As a horticulturist I was disappointed.

We spent a very pleasant couple of hours here and some of the plants were really unusual. The whole place has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. They even made us some coffee!

Created from farmland, family run garden with zones showing plants from all over the world. Cool on a hot summer day, but springtime is best time to visit. Used to be hard to find, but new mayor allowed signposts.
